I did a lot of thinking, and I finally decided to give you this. It's my dad's old Gilbert ring, the one that both of my fathers had. Your uncle Alaric had one, too, but I know that you knew that. I remember you asking me about it a few months ago, and I wanted you to have it.

Aiden and Kaiden,

I took Damon's ring in and got rings to look similar so that the both of you can have one. Aiden's has lapis in it if he ever chooses to wear it, and Kaiden's has a protective spell on it to keep anyone from hurting him. You're both family, and I wanted to make sure you know that.

I know it isn't much, but I hope that you like them. The first thing I got you was a drawing table so you have a place to work on your designs, and keep everything in one place. I know you love fashion, and I wanted to give you something that could help you with all of that. 

The second thing is a ring that my mother had, the one that raised me, and hers before her. It's been in the family for years, and I had it cleaned and reset for you just to make sure that it's perfect.
