Walking to school today and came across a dead seal on King’s Beach.
There were no visible wounds and the body had been decomposing for awhile, so not a shark attack. Probably disease.

Red Rock:
Common Periwinkles crawling over an empty Surf Clam shell.
Found in the lower intertidal zone.
Red Rock:
Young Green Crab taking shelter in the empty shell of the Slipper Shell.
I noticed that quite a few juveniles used this technique.
