MULTI-DISTRICT YOUNG SINGLE ADULTS CONFERENCE

YSAs from Alicia, Bambang, Burgos, Cauayan, Solano and Roxas districts gathered togethjer at Sta. Ana, Cagayan Last May 30-31 with a theme "LAY HOLD UPON THE GOOD THINGS"

Oh yeah! It was raining on a sunday.. The young single adults (including me.. yes i am YSA) of roxas branch 2 of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were trapped in the chapel after a half day of missionary work. Every sunday, it has been a tradition for us to work with the missionaries . During that particular sunday (March 24, 2013), while we were reporting our work to the branch president, a heavy rain fell which lasted a little while.. But don't underestimate the bright minds of the YSAs for we came up with customized raincoats out of trash bags. Well, obviously it is not enough to cover our heads and protect us from the rain but the more important thing is, we were able to protect our valuables, our scriptures in particular from getting wet.. But definitely, heavenly Father is good and knew exactly when to send help. Moments after our happy picture taking (proud to have worn trash bags), our ride arrived and we went home safe and dry.. With our trash bag raincoats still on :) carry on saints ;) XOXO Shaw
