how does this work?
this is an archive of every pop culture reference dean makes in supernatural. the catalog will only include references that dean makes aloud, as opposed to a song/show/movie that’s simply playing in the background. if there’s a reference that has multiple formats (i.e. movie based off a book, television show based off a comic), the more popular version of the reference will be catalogued, unless otherwise specified (dean specifically says it’s a certain version)
each mention will be categorized:
line (what dean actually says)
reference (what the line refers to)
episode (season, number, title)
writer (who wrote the episode, not the reference)
spoken to (who the reference is made to)
media type (televsion, movie, music, etc.)
timeframe (premier date or start/end dates)
description (a brief summary of the reference)
additional notes can be found in the tags such as: repeat mention, dean’s favorites, flashback sequence, aliases, etc.
