All I want is a cute relationship where we cuddle on the sofa and watch "Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows" together.
Me, and probably you too (except for you plebeians who think “The Legend Reborn” is better than the original trilogy, which it clearly is not).
Okay but what if

Time to unload some more Bionicle fanart:
I made these a couple of months ago after watching the Brickonicle discussion on the TTV podcast. This was before they had settled on final designs for the Toa and decided Lewa was going to be a girl. These seemed to influence their final versions a little.
If you can find these on the TTV message boards you can get a bit of my opinion on these, if you want.
Whomst’ve eaten all these pies?
If you’ve seen Journey to One you’ll get it.

Am I the only Bionicle fan who DOESN'T have some obscure sexual fetish or an unhealthy obsession with My Little Pony?!

You either die a Toa, or live long enough to see yourself become a Turaga.

The wall doesn't shatter... doesn't shatter... because it isn't there! Stop believing in it, and it disappears!

My appearance may have changed, but my love for my people has not.

Patience is no virtue when the ground begins to shake.

Toa. You are an anachronism — pure and noble heroes, still striving for right in a universe of chaos, unwilling to admit that your day is long over.
Zaktan (Bionicle)
When wisdom and valor fail, all that remains is faith. And it can overcome all.

Romance isn't canon in Bionicle. And I love that.
When I was a kid, I wanted adventure. I wanted action. I wanted fun. And when Bionicle first came out, I was excited to receive all these things and more from an excellent franchise. One of the things that stood out about Bionicle, however, was its lack of romance.
As a kid, I absolutely hated mushy lovey-dovey stuff (and let's be honest; I still do). So for me, romance not being canon in Bionicle was like a breath of fresh air. Ask yourself, dear reader, how many stories do you know where romance is not only avoided, but nonexistent within the entire universe in which it takes place? I don't know about you, but I personally think Bionicle should be applauded for making such a bold choice in making romance non-canon. If you're upset about the lack of romance, why not celebrate it instead? It's a unique part of an incredible story.
So many people want pairings of all kinds. And there is a time and a place for that sort of thing, like fanfictions and headcanons (as much as I may disagree with their relevance from time to time).
You may be asking, "what's the point of this post?" Well, I may not be able to change your perspective, but hopefully this little "rant" helped you to appreciate Bionicle just a little bit more.
