Hiiiiiii Hellloooooooo :DDD I'm Elfish and welcome to my dumb ahh blog :> Y'all can call me Elfish, Elf, or Elfii idc really and I use She/They pronouns (or whatever is fine really)

I'm a multi-fandom artist though I do like to stay in certain fandom spaces for a long time. Currently the main fandom I post about is Witch Hat Atelier though I do post other things from time to time.

I'm mainly a visual artist, though yall will most likely see other things on here such as any other crafts or headcanons for my fav characters if I feel like posting those :D

Ask are Open :D Feel free to send me asks about my ocs, art or just to yap :> I'll do my best to answer them!

I do requests! I can't guarantee I'll do every request I get, but if the request is of a character y'all see me draw a lot I'll most likely draw it.

My blog is NOT for all ages! All though most of my art isn't all too bad I do occasionally post suggestive drawing or gore, though I do my best to tag that stuff. I think 13-14+ is a pretty good rule of thumb.

as per a singular request (two if you count my friend too asjdn), here's the samuel voice claims video i've been procrastinating on releasing since like fucking april or something :,D

these were picked mostly for aquaphobia samuel, but the first ones work for pressure too (thus both icons are present).... little note about easterman though, not all voice lines of his are accurate due to how emotional that guy can get LOL

Lowkey spent all night the other day thinking about Olly having a crap ton of beauty marks all over him and Qifrey wanting to kiss every single one. I had to speedrun drawing it lmao

Also I just wanted to go further with associating Olruggio with stars soooo :P I always get reminded of constellations when I look at my own beauty marks, so we putting that on him now :D

many people ask 'how do i know my art is good enough to start a comic'. this is a very common mistake. you do not make a comic to make good art you make comics because its fun and looked yummy

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?

it's probably from assholes making asks a minefield of trolling/harassment for years with no real blocking ability, which turned people off from allowing asks on their blogs so as a whole the site moved away from it

but now that we do have better blocking, we should try to revive it.

not enough hiehart content out there tbh. i mean come on he's a silly adhd himbo with a one-sided crush who despite it all is a good mentor figure to his student who he cares about more than anything in the world. AND he believes in the pact more intensely than any other pointed cap witch we've seen so far besides the knights. and he literally gets ragdolled around and covered in blood too. he's so neat!!! i wanna see more of him!!!
