“Have you tried quieting down and letting me work?” Dori retorted with mock indignance, smirking over her shoulder at her old friend before turning her attention back to the nonverbal charm she’d been attempting on her trunk. “Someone took my favorite scarf, so I’m casting a charm that makes it so Alohomora won’t open it- though I can’t believe I haven’t had to do it before now.”
He smirked at her attitude, leaning against her bedframe. Instead of responding, he silently watched her move around. “Are you sure it didn’t fall out of your trunk?” He lazily moved to look down towards under her bed, deciding against moving to try and find the scarf. “Not many people here are clothing thieves, Dor.”
