I actually wrote something for Mayblade (not the prompts but the season) and my AU has it so that Kai has a lot of obnoxious cousins. He does care for them since they are his family, but the fight to be the heir has dampen their relationship.
Some random facts to give and add to the Hiwatari Family Lore.
The Hiwatari Family owns many mining companies. They sponsor and fund many orphanages too. They will host charity events.
Everyone's favorite is Leo (zo or zeo the android but he is real). He is the youngest and is beloved by all. He is around 7 years old.
Leo's brother Zeo died and his parents became unstable. he was sent to live with Soichiro.
Iwan, Serugei, and Bryan work directly under Yuriy.
Kai was trained to be the next heir.

Just for Mayblade (not the prompts but the season), I will attempt to write something. It will be TyKa related and is in reference to my Hunger Games AU.
This is after the games are over and Takao has to be taken back to Kai's home for their wedding. The family is spending a week to prepare for it so the two have downtime.
It is a week before his wedding. Kai lets the servants take his measurements and slightly tenses at every hand that brushes against his shirt. The turtleneck is skin tight and he can feel the fingers leaving a mark.
Takao is in the room next door getting his own measurements. Kai wishes to push away all these servants and just stay by his fiancé. Unfortunately, that is not proper of a Hiwatari.
Soon, they are all done with the tapes and writing down his measurements. They switch to helping him get ready for the day. They dress him in blues and whites, fitting for the someone who will be married off soon. The long cape barely keeps the cold out. Kai sends a servant off to check that Takao's has more fur padding than his. He knows that Takao does not like the cold weather, but has been very forgetful in keeping warm.
The last touches are the chains and gold earrings to match. An amethyst sits around his neck to show off the Hiwatari wealth. As if the lavish cape was not enough.
The servants finally bows and leaves him be. They will probably fetch his future husband for him so they can walk together to entertain the family. Now that Yuriy is the heir to the Hiwatari Clan, Kai is left with no other duties than to socialize. His least favorite activity. He does like his cousins, but they are way too much, especially Brooklyn. He almost groans out loud at the thought of having to interact with him.
As Kai stares into the mirror, he sees a glimpse of a shadow. Brown hair and doe eyes. His body completely tenses up. Yuya was already dead so who could have gotten in? When the image of Yuya and his killer appears in his mind, his body completely goes automatic. He reaches for the pen on his vanity and whips around to stab whoever got into his room.
"Woah! Don't stab me!" Takao yelps as he puts his hands up in surrender.
Takao knows how jumpy and flighty Kai been, especially in the Ring. It's still scary to see him hold a pen that threateningly.
Kai's eyes widen and the glaze in his eyes are gone. He sees that it is just Takao. His grip on the pen loosens.
The air becomes awkward between the two.
He sees that Takao is wearing the exact same outfit as him, but his supposed whites are black and his amethyst is a ruby. How fitting. Hiwatari owns a lot of major mining companies. Ruby, amethyst, and obsidian are used the most by the Hiwatari Clan.
"You look nice! I think the cape looks dashing on you." Takao winks, trying to ease Kai.
He slowly approaches Kai, trying to subtly get the pen away from him. Kai can see him glancing at the pen and just pushes it into his hand. Takao relaxes at that and throws it onto Kai's childhood bed.
"What was that anyway? I knocked but you didn't answer." Takao slowly reaches and holds Kai's hand.
Kai stares down at their hands together and sees glimpses of blood under their fingernails. He gives a weak squeeze and pushes Takao away to grab a handkerchief.
"Nothing." He scrubs at his hands.
"It was something! You almost attacked me!" Takao points at him.
Kai sighs. He knows that Takao wants to hear the answer right out of him, but reopening that wound is not something he wants to do today.
"I thought I saw someone, but it was just you." He stares at the dry handkerchief.
Takao wants to say something more. Push at this and have them scream about their feelings. Their trauma. But he realizes that doing it in Kai's childhood bedroom and with so many servants around is not an ideal place.
"Alright yeah. You wanna go get something to eat? Tala is hosting."
Kai stares at him confused for a bit, but realizes that his fiancé is using Yuriy's nickname. His shoulder droops at attending his first social event. Though, he would rather escape any potentials for talking to Takao about what just transpired.
"Yeah. Let's go."

Art by @gabigarden. I decided to do one of these templates. It is definitely imperfect since I do not know too much about my own OC and the headcanons I have are not too defined.
Appearance. Arty straightens her quills to get that Maria Effect. Her fur is cool colored and she has Sonic's smile, but the black highlights all over her body instantly gives her away as Shadow's child too.
Personality. She has Sonic's sunny personality on the outside, but on the inside she is cold like Shadow. She is wrapped up in a ball of insecurity and anxiety like Shadow. She is cautious and hesitant, unwillingly to trust new people.
Emotional Expression. This one was hard since I didn't know what it really is. After some research post-4AM edit, I realize that she is a good mix between the two, but leaning more towards Sonic. Both Sonic and Shadow hide their flaws behind their tough exterior. Like Sonic, she hides it behind a dazzling smile and sweet words.
Intelligence/Talent. This was tough since she was mostly raised by others. She would have a good mix between the two. She knows heroism from Sonic and chaos energy control from Shadow.
Emotional Closeness. Post-4AM edit, I realized I should have not put anything. She was not even raised by them, but by her older brother Helios. There are rare memories with the two of them though (like shadow showing her maria and sonic taking her out for a run) so she has something.
Most Influenced By. I should have not put anything either since she was not raised by them. She does take after the both of them though so it is a good balance.
I guess I have unofficially named the group the Small Town Crew. Clara, Joni, Brenden, and Nathan are the main characters. Usually they are human and recently I posed them as LPS. I have been brainstorming different ideas now.
Cat vs Dog AU. Clara is just dog-core. Very lovable, affectionate, and loud. Joni, Brenden, and Nathan are cats. Nathan is more the mischievous type. Brenden is sassy. Joni is a loner.
LPS AU. Brenden is still a cat and Clara is a dog with catlike features. Nathan is a squirrel and Joni is a ferret. Nathan is the territorial type. Joni is the sociable type.
Minecraft Origins AU. Clara is a shulk. Brenden is an elytrian. Joni is an arachnid. Nathan is a phantom. Literally a perfect au since nathan phantom is real and Clara can have natural purple hair. They would probably live in a village together and then spend their days adventuring around the world.
In every universe, my OCs meet and are friends. (they are also evil and dorky)
We got Clara (pink), Joni (purple), Brenden (orange), and Nathan (red). Colors may be off, but their vibes are there.
Just brainstorming some things for the Smalltown AU. They are super rich and childhood friends. This was before they split up and are hanging out as they usually would. Messy kids.
I could make these forever but I have to slow down a bit due to my schedule. A little more backstory and lore building with this one.
I was going to write a lot more, but this is my limit. Thank god Tumblr does not really limit on word usage.
Artemis aka Imposter Child.
The second child of Sonic and Shadow who was found comatose in a lab. She never physically aged until she was awoken. Made around the same time as her older brother Helios and imprinted onto Sonic. Since her parents aren’t around often, she looks to Helios as her guardian. Looks up to Maria and hopes that by being like her, Shadow would like her more.
Arty's personality is not really defined when she was young. She really absorbed from others around her like Sonic and Helios (which is why she is trying so hard to be a hero).
She felt really distant from Shadow and saw a lot of Maria images/visuals like memory sharing that she started trying to be like her (or what she thought was her).
In actuality, she is really negative and droopy. She is robotic in her natural ways of speech, but puts on a ""heroic"" persona. She is not heroic and has failed to save many when times were desperate (but she was a child and was not able to save people).
Look at my beautiful mascot and sonadow fankid. Arty the Hedgehog is here to stay.
I did a little letter format of her trying to contact her big brother. They both would not have phones due to Helios needing to focus on school and Arty not really liking them.
She really misses him though so writing to him helps a lot. It helps Helios too who never lived so far away from his sister.
The Sonadow Kid Trio doing little villainous things in an AU. They are not happy.
Oh yeah, they are supernatural now. They have definitely unlocked their supernatural sides. They all can use doom spears.
The youngest Ventus (it/they) can doom morph and chooses to stay in that form to scare people. The squid form is hedgehog sized (small baby) but intimidating with the only color being its red eyes. Black and white squids aren't common.
When not in a doom morph, Venny chooses to doom surf (nicknamed doom skateboard) around for fun.
The middle child Artemis (she/they) can fly on doom wings freely. She does not do it often, but will take the others on the flight around for fun.
She can doom surf (nicknamed doom rollerskate) and also spawn doom wings everywhere on her body. She sometimes keep little doom wings on the sides of her head as a show of power or spawn them on her heels to make her jump/kick even higher than if she was channeling chaos energy. Sometimes they're just accessories for fun.
The oldest Helios (he/him) can doom blast and only doom morph small parts of his body like his arms or legs. If he wants doom wings, his arms are transformed.
His main thing is being able to transform into a werehog. He'll stay in the form for multiple days at a time but has to take a break eventually. He can also transform his arms or legs into his werehog form. This is something that does hurt him. It is painful to be a werehog than if he doom morph his arms and legs. He chooses to be a werehog to be better than his siblings since he is the only one who can do it.

I recently played some minecraft dnd and I did use this skin that I edited of my usual skin. There is an actual photo of what she is supposed to look like.
In the minecraft dnd, she tamed a lot of dragons and did a lot of exploring into places she is not supposed to. She loved mining and farming. She made a lot of tools out of the materials she got from her mining adventures.
She really sucks at fighting and cannot defend herself well. Her combat and levels relating to it was not as high as her other abilities. She loved pranking with her invisibility.
