Yours truly, with Elijahbear.
Dylan O’Brien a.k.a. the SEXGOD
So, it's my birthday this weekend.
I won't be providing alcohol since I don't drink, but feel free to bring your own. Food will be a definite, do you forget who you're speaking to young Elijah? I’m the culinary major extraordinaire.
Fair enough. Ooh, no, I'll never forget that one time you made me food. I was disappointed with the cafeteria food for a month after that. It was awful.
So, it's my birthday this weekend.
I’m hoping to have some sort of social gathering/event. It would be great to see a few of your faces there once I finalize the details. You all know the saying.. be there or be square.
If there's food and/or alcohol, I'm in.Â
Crazy Happenstance || Andy & Eli
Eli glanced at the list of plays on his arm, barely skimming them before calling out the string of letters and numbers that alerted the rest of the team to the play and snap count. He counted to seven in his head, the football landing neatly in his hands not a millisecond after he mentally uttered the word seven. He backed up a few yards - normally he wouldn't go so far back, but this was a slow-unfolding play, the intention to gain a large amount of yardage in one go. His eyes shot over to the left, following Caleb's darting figure heading down the field. As soon as Caleb reached the twenty-five yard line, Eli dropped his arm back and sent out a long, spiraling Hail Mary pass. It arced over the heads of his teammates, and Eli hoped and prayed that it would land at least somewhat near Caleb's open arms and spread fingertips. Apparently, there was a God. The football dropped right into Caleb's grips, and true to his form, he sprinted down the field and scored a touchdown. He always outran the other players on the team, a sure test to see if a play could be pulled off. Eli pumped a fist in the air, and Caleb did the same, pulling off his helmet and grinning at Eli. Coach called them in, congratulating them on a job well done and telling them he was going to let them out early. Today was a good day, Eli decided. He'd gotten a great grade on the project he'd slaved over for weeks, and now practice was letting out a few minutes early. Yes, he thought, a good day.
Jogging over to the locker room, Eli scrambled to get to the showers first. Sometimes, the hot water ran out if the team took too long of a shower, so he always tried to get in first. Sliding a little on the already wet floor of the showers, he slipped into a shower just before Caleb could. "You snooze, you lose, man," he said, grinning before he shut the curtain. The hot water soothed the muscles in his back, but he was still out within five minutes. Ah, the advantages of having a practically shaved head. Gathering his stuff, he headed out back out of the locker room and into the brisk air. It had felt good, having practice in the cold, but now he really felt the impact of the nip in the air. Pulling on his jacket, Eli wasn't paying attention as he made his way down the sidewalk. He ran straight into a girl that was walking the other way, and her books spilled onto the pathway. "I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going," he apologized, and then the girl looked at him. "Well, well, well," he said, grinning, "Look who it is. Andy Wooldridge, herself. What a crazy happenstance."Â
Was I exiled?
Sounds about right, haha, cold as hell with no one to talk to.
How you been?
Seriously, I'm freezing my ass off.
I'm pretty good. I got chicken pot pie. I love chicken pot pie. How about you?
Was I exiled?
I feel like I’ve been cut off from all of you guys, haha. What’s going on?
Nope, sorry, can't talk to you. You were exiled to Siberia last week.Â
*Laughs* Well, you pull it off. Good job.Â
See you later, then?
See you later, Bre!
HA! I’m better competition than last week, by myself. We had a team back in Texas that was KNOWN for being utterly useless on the field, and the football friends I always mention to you used to tell me I’d put up a better fight by my lonesome.Â
I always did put up a good game in Skins vs. Shirts. Everybody wanted me on Skins, though… *flatly*
Maybe if you grow two extra arms you could play every position by yourself. I can see it happening - throw the ball to yourself, snap it to yourself and kick field goals, no big deal. Easy as pie.
That's the only problem with Skins vs. Shirts - everybody wants the girls on Skins. Not that I'd mind, but I try to not be a total asshole.
Works for me. Get the French Vanilla Apple, I’ve been stealing pieces of it all week.
I could tell you’re competitive. Too bad I could totally kick your ass if they let girls play.Â
Sounds good to me. I'll be all over it.
One day, you should just get a whole team of girls together and play against us. People would totally pay to see that. You would definitely be more competition than some of these teams.
There’s an idea, we could REALLY humiliate some of these teams. Y’know, make a touchdown then do fifteen minutes of yoga in the endzone or somethin’.Â
USC’s comin’ up, though… *a little torn on this as it was supposed to be his school of choice before he decided on Richardson instead*
Their quarterback threw another incomplete pass? No big deal, time for the downward dog. And stretchhh.
If we keep playing like we're practicing, we'll be fine. We'll show USC. Not having any second thoughts, are you?
I believe it. You should have some competition coming up, though… USC is number 2 in the SEC, if I’m not mistaken, so that should be more resistance for you.Â
So I can count on you coming up for a while then?Â
Yeah, Coach has us running drill after drill. He really doesn't want us losing this game. Then again, neither do I. I'm too competitive for my own good.
Hell yeah! I'll be that creepy guy in the corner who's always there eating pie.
No shit. It’s like they’re not even tryin’ lately, though. I’m ready for a challenge.
Bre told me they might as well have laid down on the field and let us do whatever. I'm with you, though. Getting tired of the wet noodle approach.
Ha! Oh, there’s like eight on rotation every day. And this girl in the back is super into it, like she comes up with her own kinds and everything, and they’re awesome.
Great job last Saturday, by the by. Bowling Green might as well have just laid down on the field and let you and that Duncan guy do whatever you wanted.Â
Oh my god, is this your job or is this heaven? I can't tell.
Y'know, I think they might have at some point...there was that one guy...but thanks! Always feels good to win.
Mennonite, I thought. Maybe the hat’s throwing me off.
Seriously, though, I work the shift from four to nine tonight, you should come get some food. This place ain’t half bad.Â
Now you're making me doubt myself.
I'm so there the pie is already gone. Make sure to save about a half for me. Or a whole.
Ridin’ high off last week’s bloodbath.
Man I love football season.
It's great, man. I've been missing it all year.
