Note: I’ve never written for this pairing before (nor have I written for Ginny!) so hopefully everything is okay and in character etc :) also this is obv book Ginny bc she was badass. I must say, I ship Ginny more with Luna, so this was a bit of a challenge! Hope it’s okay though 💖

After a week of assessments, desperately trying to catch up with a years worth of work, assessments, rebuilding Hogwarts, and Head Girl’s duties, Hermione was utterly worn out.
A hot bath in the collosal pool in the prefects bathroom was just what the doctor ordered, and she sighed as she tipped her head back onto the edge of the pool, seating herself on the carved marble seats that were part of the pool.
“Mind if I join you? Neville said you were talking about a bath, and I can’t be arsed with a shower. My arms are aching after quidditch,”
Hermione shrieked in surprise, sinking up to her chin in the bubbles, before realising it was Ginny. “Yeah, come on,” she said, reclining once more. The water rippled as Ginny slid into the water, letting out a pleasured groan. “Nice, isn’t it,”
“Hmmm,” Ginny said. “So how’s being head girl? I wouldn’t be able to cope with all that,”
Hermione smiled slightly. “It’s… it’s a lot. You know, on top of NEWT studies and fixing the worst of the damage. It’s manageable, though, I just… need to make time for myself to relax, otherwise I’ll just crash,”
Ginny nodded. “I know how you feel. Heard anything from my idiot brother?”
“Nope. He’s a prat. When your mum found out we’d broke up, she was gutted, and made sure I knew I was welcome at any time even if I wasn’t with Ron,” Hermione said, swirling the bubbles absentmindedly. Ginny smirked.
“I don’t miss the sex, though,” she said and Ginny snorted.
“Ew, that’s my brother you’re talking about,” she groaned, causing Hermione to laugh. “Bet he was shit,”
“No… just a little… selfish. Once he was finished, that was it. Very frustrating,”
“Typical. Want something done, you have to do it yourself,” Ginny said.
“Hmm… oh, bollocks!” Hermione suddenly exclaimed.
“I need to sort out my Charms essay for Flitwick,” Hermione fretted, making to get out of the pool, but Ginny grabbed onto her wrist, pulling her back into the water.
“You need to relax, Hermione, really unwind,” she said, a devious twinkle in her brown eyes. Hermione gulped, flushing.
“I- how to you mean?” She breathed, nibbling her lip slightly.
“Well, let’s just say… I’m much more generous than Ronald-”
They were kissing. Hermione was kissing one of her best friends in the world as though she’d never be kissed again, and it was… nice. Ginny’s lips were soft, yet firm at the same time, and plump and inviting. And she was an excellent kisser, her lips moving in just the right way, her tongue occasionally flickering out and making Hermione gasp. Hermione held onto her arms, and slowly, they inched closer together until their bare chests were pressed up against one another. Pulling away, if only a few inches, they stared at one another for a second, before giggling.
“You seem to be enjoying this,” Ginny teased, her fingertips trailing lightly up the outside of Hermione’s thigh. Hermione bit her lip and nodded, and Ginny grabbed her thighs, pulling her to straddle one of her thighs. “Enjoying this very much indeed, ‘Mione,” Ginny whispered into her ear, and Hermione shuddered, rocking her hips on Ginny’s strong thigh.
“Mmm…” was all she could manage as she moved to kiss Ginny’s neck, her teeth scraping lightly over her pulse point as she rutted against her, grinding her clit into her smooth flesh.
