We’re back, everyone! We’ve taken some time off to focus on school, and to regroup and recuperate so we can put forth our best work for all of you. Thank you for being understanding during this time, and for your support.
Today, we’re gonna show you guys the beginning of our hair journeys. We both go to the same stylist, by the name of Olivia Aguilar. She currently works at the Robert Cromeans Salon in Las Vegas, NV. Oliva was super patient with both of our heads of hair and it hasn’t been easy for her.
Let’s start with Cassie’s transformation:
Cassie started out with a pre-existing blonde ombré, and went straight to blonde to start the path toward silver-gray. The color took best on her pre-lightened ends, but she has to go in for another lightening session in order for Olivia to get Cassie’s hair to maximum brightness.
Now, onto Elisse’s transformation:
Olivia has had quite the time working with Elisse’s hair. Throughout high school and up until recently, Elisse had been treating her hair with Henna, as a natural way to combat her hereditary white/gray hairs. While the henna was excellent at adhering to Elisse’s hair, it made it that much more difficult for Olivia to get her out of that warm phase natural asian hair is usually in. She’s gone in for a couple of lightening sessions, but it is going to take a lot more work in order to get her to a cooler tone. Surprisingly enough, the most recent lightening session took Elisse’s hair from completely warm, to an almost purposeful cool-to-warm ombré.
