DeviantArt Feature Time #6!

I’ve been writing just about pixel art games for the last half a year, ever since GDC in March. I could continue doing so, given that Gamescom is going on and I’m sure new things are popping up every day now. But let’s not forget that I spent most of the previous 6 years of this blog’s existence featuring artists, where pixel art is used as a style for illustration work outside games.

I follow a big amount of creators on DeviantArt. I love that platform the most, because the people I follow, I never miss their works, since you get a list of notifications for all new art. I slowly go through it when I’m waiting for my code to compile (here on Tumblr or Twitter, new works can get lost in the stream of everything else).

Anyway, from the works I see, I pick out my favorites and then I select a few of my favorites to feature in my journal. I haven’t done one in 6 months, so here are the best of my favorites in Feature Time #6.
