In which Antoni Porowski is all of us
No one told me that there was going to be a corgi!!!
mendozaxmaya:
Maya just glared at him when he chuckled, trying to scare the living bejeezus out of him when it sadly didn’t work at all. “Oh, like what?” she asked, not helping to ask just one more question. “If you go anything to drink, like vodka or something like that, then we can talk.”
"This my dear, is a children's home what kind of establishment did you think we’re running?” he replied with a laugh. “Ask me nicely, and I might confess to having some.”
elenagreysonx:
Elena had been out for a walk to clear her mind, when her thoughts were rudely interrupted by the stranger. She cocked her brow at the man, not sure to think of his theatrics, either brave or stupid, but she did have to remind herself that not everyone in town would know who she was, since she had come and go so frequently since its founding. “Oh? And what is so interesting that you may have to say?”
He knew Elena Greyson of course, and hadn’t realised the original was back in town. He hadn’t gone to the Founder’s Day event in protest, not willing to pay attention to things that were not celebrating him. “Miss Greyson. Just that you look lovely today, truly. Is that a new haircut?”
hollychevalier:
Her lips pursed waiting to respond, wavering on one foot to another as she resisted a snicker from his words. “Well– I have a lot of Kardashian news to keep up with, a bunch of wine coolers in the fridge, some blood,” her nose scrunched and she pulled a face at that one, “to mix up with some tomato soup and I think I’ve got a couple of prime packages at my doorstep.” She mimicked his body language and leaned against the wall, too. “But I can keep you company if you really think you can entertain me.”
"Oh those pesky Kardashians, taking up my air time.” he huffed a little, rolling his eyes. “One time at a party, I was totally blanked by Kim, talk about rude.” he rolled his eyes once more, unable to resist the action when thinking of the woman. “You need blood but don’t like it? Odd little vampire are we?” he asked, folding his arms. “I’d rather hear about the aversion to blood, that sounds fun.”
saoirseoconnell:
“Oh, of course… I feel like such a fool.” She pressed the back of her hand to her forehead, feigning dismay. “How could I have been so blind? Should I apologize to you once a day, every day, for no less than a thousand days?”
"It’s okay, you’re in good company in a town of fools, there’s an entire town out there haven’t realised just how incredible I am.” he replied, “Make it two thousand and we might have a deal.”
isabellecresswell:
“Ever the drama queen,” Issy said with a dramatic sigh as she watched him sit up. “I can’t believe you of all people find themselves bored, I thought for sure you were a constant stream of entertainment.” She teased him.
"Yet, I still have no crown. Why must I be so overlooked?” he sighed dramatically, “Yes but I can only entertain myself with myself for so long, sometimes I need someone else to bounce the energy off of. I mean that in an entirely non sexual way, obvi,”
minaxfitzgerald:
“Well I wasn’t-” Mina started with a bit of a squeak when she walked passed him, trying to come up with fifty million excuses to not talk to him. “Going home and finishing reading Crazy Rich Asians? Or Warlock Holmes?” she answered truthfully, thinking of the three books she was currently reading that was waiting for her.
He waited for her to talk, sighing a little as she told him what she was reading. “What a thrilling life you lead.” he deadpanned, though he didn’t really begrudge her having the ability to pay attention to books. He never had the inclination or the attention span, there was always so much more going on with the world that demanded his attention. “I’m much more interesting, and on the whole more aesthetically pleasing.”
makolahani:
A laugh boomed free. “Just barely. Try to contain that awe.”
"Oh I’m absolutely overwhelmed with awe can’t you tell, this is my awe face.”
mendozaxmaya:
“I don’t know, some monkey in a zoo,” Maya snapped. She wasn’t having a really good day, and really didn’t want to talk to anyone right now. “Just-give me one damned good reason why I should stand here and talk to you?” she asked, trying to calm down when clearly she wasn’t.
“Oh she bites.” he replied with an amused chuckle, “It’s really too early for such venom, I haven’t even had my wheaties yet.” he huffed a little, arching an eyebrow. “That’s far too many questions, you shouldn’t have any questions you should just do things it’s much more fun.”
makolahani:
Mako let out a quick laugh and, studying the stranger, hopped off the boat to the deck. A forefinger tapped his temple. “I have a sixth sense about this sorta thing.”
“Magical, truly.” he replied, “How do you live with such a gift.”
adam-haley:
“Do you want the honest answer of the one carefully chosen to bring the biggest smile to your face?” He teased, spinning on his heels to turn back towards Eli. “This’ll be one hell of an interesting conversation though. Two amazingly interesting people. We should sell tickets, invite the entire town to watch. We’ll make millions.”
“I already know the honest answer is the one to bring the biggest smile to my face.” he replied, “Now that’s the best idea I’ve heard all day, we should make invites, charge door fees, serve snacks, the whole lot.”
platinumpatrik:
Patrik really did need to get himself into gear and purchase a new car for this place. Whenever all the Ubers were busy and he had to walk something strange and annoying inevitably happened. Besides, walking around like this was uncouth. Almost on cue he was interrupted by a voice from a figure lounging on a wall and he stared at the other. “Was I ever here? And I don’t have a clue who you are, so a million things could be more interesting,” he replied, before pausing. “You have any more cigarettes?”
“Yes, no, maybe. Perhaps you are here and perhaps you’re not, you’ll never know.” he replied with a shrug as he merely took another puff of his cigarette. “I’m Eli, trust me you’ll get to know me.” he explained with a wave of his hand, “Maybe. Are you staying? Or will you be just cruel and take a cigarette and flee.”
liamhxrris:
There had always been a lot of prank calls from the orphanage, at least once a week, they’d get a call of some squealing kid, muttering some words, that half the time they wouldn’t even catch. Yet, even though everyone knew that it was a joke, their boss made one or two guys go there, just to check it out. It was kind of a lottery and seemed that it was Liam’s turn, as he’d finished his shift anyway.
He had finished the talk with one of the women and was about to leave when he heard the strange man. Arching his brow at him, Liam lifted his shoulder. “Sorry, man. My mom taught me not to talk to strangers… And well you are a little strange.” He grinned.
He pouted a little, “Officer pretty you break my heart.” he replied with an overdramatic sigh as he lit up another cigarette. gazing idly at the other man. “I’m hardly strange, I’m fascinating and since when did you ever listen to your mama?”
saoirseoconnell:
Saoirse stilled, and her curious gaze found the source of that cocky, playful voice. What an interesting phrase he had just used, and a telling one. Either he believed it with all his heart, or more likely, he didn’t believe it at all. She tilted her head, grinned a little. It was sunny outside. “I’m not sure. Are you very interesting?”
“I’m offended that you’d question the possibility of me not being interesting,” he replied with a mock look of horror. “I am very interesting, most interestingly so.”
Lounging on the wall outside of the orphanage, he ignored the chatter and crying of the current children inside, the calm voice of his foster mother filtering through to him as she tried to get them ready for their various summer day activities. He blew the cigarette smoke upwards, rings of smoke filtering in the air, bored as hell and wanting someone to talk to or annoy. He heard footsteps, sitting upright with his cigarette firmly in his mouth still. “Don’t go, I'm bored, talk to me. Besides what could be more interesting than talking to me?”
