so obviously fitz dying is incredibly tragic but the fact that there is another fitz floating frozen in space waiting for jemma to find him is just so unspeakably beautiful to met
they get a second chance
they get to get married again
they get another life together
and the fitz that’s frozen still has all the trauma from the framework and from being in prison, but he doesn’t have the stress of trying to save the world and he doesn’t have the guilt of having to betray and hurt his closest friends
for once, the people around him know what he’s going through better than he knows himself and they get to help him heal where they once failed
i just really love the thought of fitz - who was once told he was worthless, who found a love and a family that told him he wasn’t, who was willing to give all of that up in order to save humanity - waking up in a world that hasn’t been destroyed to his friends welcoming him back with open arms and jemma asking him to marry her again
and maybe they’ll tell him everything he missed and maybe they won’t, but either way, things will be different this time
time is not fixed
they don’t have to repeat their mistakes
they will do better, they will be happy, they will be together
