ok i was added to some facebook group thats made up of a bunch of my old high school classmates and firstable i didnt even realize i was part of since since 2014 apparently but also now theyre all trying to plan when to hang out this summer and its like ??? why was i added to this i wasnt rly friends with any of these ppl and a bunch of the ppl arent even in the same friend group so basically all they have in common is that we went to the same HS and this is just so FAKE. all these ppl are so fake and none of them probably have kept in touch since HS ended bc im sure if they were still friends they would.. u know.. text each other lmao.

Barakat was a dental student at the University of North Carolina, and he started a campaign last year to send dental supplies to victims of the Syrian civil war. The YouCaring effort has raised more than $70,000 to date.

Yusor had planned to begin her dental studies at UNC-Chapel Hill this coming fall. The outlet also cited UNC officials as saying that she and Barakat were married in December — less than two months ago.

Razan was a student at North Carolina State University, where she studied architecture and environmental design. The New York Times notes that many have praised her artistic abilities; she won an award from her school “for capturing 3-D abstract model making with time-lapse video.”

Yesterday a 17 year female, who attends Lancaster High School in California, was beaten by a football player, on school grounds, for being gay. After receiving over a dozen blows to her jaw, head, eye and head, all he received was a 5 day suspension by the Lancaster School District. She suffered from a fractured jaw and multiple concussions to the head and the Deputy Sheriff advised her mother to re-think her wanting to file charges against the football player because her daughter pushed him back. The school ended up documenting "assault" charges on the victims school file, NOT the football players!!! To make things worse, the Deputy Sheriff warned the victim, by saying, "Just so you know, if you file charges against him, I'm taking his side." We're attempting to raise awareness and bring this story to light because Lancaster High School is trying to sweep this "Hate Crime" under the rug!

Hi, my name is Nellie and I need your help. Some would say I’m a crazy dog person and I guess this donation page really proves it. 

My dog Coco was mysteriously injured today. At first we thought it was just an attack by a wild animal while she was outside but upon bringing her to the first vet, they assume she must have been hit by a car. The vet said that she has two fractured hips that were seperated from her spine and will need surgery to reattach them. They were able to tell this from x-rays and are going to do more blood work to make sure she has no internal bleeding.  Coco right now is able to stay comfortable through an IV, pain management and a pain patch. It was over 1k to keep her in overnight care, which at this point is necessary. The vet had a positive outlook and said she would be able to recover with surgery. I would not be asking for money if there was any belief that my beloved dog would not make it through. We want to go into this with only the most positive vibes and all the hope we have. Coco is 5 pound Chihuahua that we welcomed into our family years ago. She’s a tough little thing. We like to say she’s a bad dog but a good girl. She’s not one to mess with and I truly believe that she will make a speedy recovery if she’s able to have this surgery.  I am not one to ask others for help. It takes me a lot to even let someone buy me coffee every now and again. But my dogs mean the world to me and it breaks my heart to think that my dog has a chance to live on happily if we only had the money. At this time, we cannot come up with any other financial options so I’ve turned to my friends and the online community to hopefully help save my dog.
