Weave

22 strands, handwoven over a whole season of Tokyo Ghoul. It’s pain staking, and it makes you ache, but it is definitely worth it.

Massive Disaster

I am never using organza again. Just as I finished my garment, there was a great big gaping hole in it, where the organza fibres has worn away. 

T-MINUS 2 DAYS UNTIL PHOTOSHOOT. 

I had to unpick the whole top apart, insert new panels, and reattach it to my trousers, which still needed embellishing. 

You can see the rejected organza thrown on the floor out of hatred.

It takes approximately 6 episodes of The Walking Dead to rhinestone one bust piece. By hand. At least I’ve finally finished season 4.

For my promotional video, I want upbeat music that will fit with the happy culture of Brazil. SO I made my own.

Disaster

I ran out of feathers for my second leg piece, therefor I will have to start the process of making up my bodice while I wait for another 250 feathers to arrive.

I AM DROWNING IN FEATHERS

Here I am expressing my hatred for feathers after around 10 hours. 10 hours to do a single leg. 250 feathers individually sewn on - feature panels for the sides of my legs. 

Just another 250 to go I guess.

TOILE TIME

This is the end result of my toile. It took 4 attempts, as I wanted it close to the body, and the body half was the trickiest as it is shaped around a body. 

The first thing I did was wrap the body in cling film, which gave me the rough idea of the pattern I wanted. However, curved to flat loses a lot of shape. So a few attempts of shaping the sides later, I had the silhouette I wanted. 

Now I just need to give it an iron.

Peek of my Press Release. I made the olympic rings melt, because they were slightly boring in their original solid state. It also matches my market level of exhibitionist.
