Backsliding || Elounor
Things had been looking up lately. She’d tried so hard to start having fun again, smiling more, laughing more, she’d put so much effort into it. Just for it to end within seconds. After finding out she closed herself off. Completely kept to herself and hadn’t really been heard from or seen. Not even bothering to eat much since she didn’t have an appetite. The girl could not catch a break. In sweatpants and a baggy pull-over, she laid in her bed staring up at the ceiling with tear-stained, red, swollen eyes. She sighed, finally deciding she was getting nowhere and wouldn’t be getting anywhere if she didn’t set her pride aside and give in. She reluctantly got out of her bed. Her body felt quite numb as it led her to her ex-boyfriend’s room. Possibly the only person in this house who not only understood her through and through, maybe even better than she understood herself, but also knew what it was like to first get this news. She rounded the corner slowly and saw an empty room, minus him, sitting on his bed. She leaned against the door frame and lazily tapped her knuckles on it; a quiet knock hitting the frame. “Are you busy?” She asked with a face that looked painfully tired and showed no emotion.
