Pajeon 파전 or Crispy Korean Green Onion Pancake 🥞
Ingredients
Onions
Leaks/Chinese leaks/Onion leaves
Sesame Seeds
Cornstarch
Water
Soysauce
Salt and Pepper
Oil
Procedure:
Mix enough cornstarch to 1/2 cup of water. Enough to make it look like a paste. Add salt and pepper to taste, you can also add chili powder or cayenne pepper if you wanted it spicy.
Cut the onions leghtwice and the leaks as well. Hiwain mo lang ng sing haba ng hinlalaki mo ung leaks.
Mix both the onions and the leaks sa wet mixture mo of cornstarch and water. Mix them well.
Once mixed, heat a pan with enough oil. Do not put too much kasi baka mag soggy yung pancake. We want it crispy as much as possible.
Once heated, put in the mixture into the pan. Coat the pan well, just like pag nagawa ka ng normal pancake.
Flip it to the other side if medyo brown and crispy na yung ilalim. Then push mo ung pancake using your spatula para numipis.
Ta-da!!! Crispy ba?? Make sure before mo kunin sa pan is crispy ha then sprinkle it with sesame seeds.
