a few drinks in her system and good music bumping through the speakers had max shamelessly in the middle of the dance floor. fingers hooked against a jacket that hung over one of her shoulders. eyes closed as her body swayed to the beat. the back of maxâs neck was beginning to glisten, but she knew the makeup on her face was staying flawless. dark hues fluttered open, searching for a place to set her jacket aside. walking over to a loveseat, she tossed the jacket on the arm. just as she was ready to turn back around, max noticed someone standing there. âcome on, dance with me.â she shouted, extending her hands out. âi insist.â
ella hadnât been at the party for long, but as soon as she got there she slapped on a âniceâ tag which was very much a lie and ventured into the place. taking some punch before she started to blend with the crowd, seeing some familiar faces and others sheâd never seen in her life. and of course, some little flirting here and there never hurt nobody. however, as soon as she spotted max, she set down her punch before walking towards the girl. a pleasant surprise, not really expecting her there. âoh, alright. if you insist.â she said in a teasing manner, before pointing to her tag. âiâm a nice one though. so this may be a bit out of line.âÂ
