You know when you’re staring out at the ocean and rather overcome with the intensity of its vast beauty? Like it just sends this rush of realization through you, reminding you of how grand this experience of life can be?

That’s what I’ve been feeling lately in moments when I’m close to you. It started with your eyes, the colors have been shifting and now when I look into your eyes I see an entire galaxy.

Now it’s happening with your body too, anytime we’re in close proximity that gives me a sense of how much space you occupy in comparison with my own smaller frame I get this rush of being absolutely mesmerized. It’s like I’m seeing the vast beauty of the ocean for the first time in my entire life but it’s not the ocean, it’s you - and it’s not a still picture of a galaxy far, far away it’s an actual live view of star lights morphing &dancing before my very eyes in your eyes!

I want to tell you so badly about this, one day, I know I will, maybe when we’re looking out at the beautiful ocean again. Maybe I’ll write it a little more eloquently on paper with my favorite pen.

Learning about each others lives through social media instead of regular & intentional conversations honestly feels terrible.

It feels disconnecting rather than genuine.

I don’t like feeling like we’re just groupies in each other’s lives.
