“ Anything is possible with the right amount of persuasion, ” Elisaveta replied, not bothering to look up from filing her nails. “ Unless you want to slip ‘ the chick ’ a bribe instead ? ”

“Normally I would grumble at the person who collided with me that they should watch where they were going- but I can say that this time, completely my fault.” Kristoff commented, having been looking for Elena with two glasses of champagne in his hand, now which were a lot emptier then they had been. “I didn’t get any on you, did I?”

“ How generous of you, ” Elisaveta quipped drily, adjusting her golden mask before it had the chance to slip off. “ My shoes, but I'm sure your apology will fix them. ” Her gaze was already elsewhere, searching for some story that didn’t involve masked strangers locking lips. “ Are these events always so... dull ? ”

“ Mm, you clean up well, ” Elisaveta said by way of greeting as she met Leonardo outside of where the masquerade. “ Nearly, anyway. Your tie’s a mess, ” she explained, moving to adjust it for him.

MILO

Despite a letter from his “parents” that he had yet to open, Milo was remaining positive on his birthday. This was his normal attitude so it wasn’t really different from any other day except, “Yes, eighteen. I know. I’m surprised I made it this far too,” He said with a laugh.

“ Aww, ” Elisaveta cooed. “ An adult by muggle standards now, right ? Or do they still consider you a baby until nineteen ? ” she teased, despite being less than two years older than him herself. “ What dangerous deeds do you do that are so life-threatening, anyway ? ”

POTTER, SJ. 

In all honesty, had it not been the same day as Lucy’s, James would have forgotten it was his birthday. With everything that had happened, celebrating it wasn’t one of his top priorities, “I really don’t want to make a big deal out of it. There’s nothing special about nineteen but thanks though.”

“ Who doesn’t want to make a big deal out of their birthday ? I’ve always been of the belief that’s only something you say when you’re trying to act modest, ” Elisaveta teased. “ As someone who’s been nineteen for nearly a year, I can say the sky is the limit. Why limit yourself to an average year ? ”

“Elle, what happened?!” Tav exclaimed as she spotted the girl after entering their flat, “Are you okay?”

“  Какого чёрта ! ” could be heard as the door opened to reveal Elle standing on the couch with her wand out. Since when did we add a giant spider to our lease ? I definitely don’t remember him paying rent. ”

Alice practically inhaled the food that was set in front. She hadn’t eaten in well over a day, worrying about the hostages and what her brother might be doing to help. She looked at the person across from her, “What? I’m hungry.”

Elisaveta glanced up from her paperwork, tapping her nails impatiently against the table. “ Whatever. The state of your stomach is far from my concern right now. You eating with your mouth closed, though ? I’d kill for that. ”

“Well, if you ever need some tea to take away this stress, I know just the right kind.”

“ I highly doubt you have a tea capable of even fathoming the stress that is my life, but by all means, have at it. ”

“That was a pretty good shot if I say so myself,” he chuckled looking to the girl beside him. “What’s your best score?”

Elle grinned, pleased at the compliment.  “ Three bullseyes in a row. Think you can beat that ? ”

Taking the mallet from the man running the game, Fletcher took a moment before bringing it down and causing the buzzer to ring. He then looked over to the blonde and held the mallet out to her, “You sure you don’t want to have a go?”

“ Well, aren’t you strong ? ” Elle mused at the stranger’s win. “ What’s your prize ? ” Strength wasn’t her forte, at least, not in the physical sense. Still, she took the hammer to inspect. “ Any chance I can use engorgio on it and still count as a win ? ” she asked with a laugh.

🍬 - our muses eat halloween candy together

“Anything cherry or raspberry flavored is the best and you can’t argue with me on that,” Pepper stated, popping another red candy in her mouth.

“ Raspberry ? What candy tastes like raspberry ? ” Elisaveta continued searching through the jar. “ As long as you don’t touch the caramel flavored, I don’t care what your preference is. ”
