Isn’t it amazing how life is one thing and then, in an instant, it becomes something else? Like here I am, Mia, the girl who thinks about the cello and Adam and then just like that…
Whenever you read a cancer booklet or website or whatever, they always list depression among the side effects of cancer. But, in fact, depression is not a side effect of cancer. Depression is a side effect of dying.
My mother says there’s an art to losing yourself. But I haven’t figured it out yet.

"The hanging tree. Which is where I felt like going."
I WILL NEVER NOT LAUGH AT THAT.

Better not to give in to it. It takes ten times as long to put yourself back together as it does to fall apart.

I love that the movie showed the real effects that the games would have on teenagers and how they destroyed everyone. This edit made me cry bc I just remembered kind gentle Peeta who wasn’t going to let the games change him and then you see him now and it just like NO PEETA!!!! The movie also reminded me of why I hated Mockingjay as a book bc I couldn’t stop worrying about Peeta and I was so angry at everyone for just leaving him. And every time I read Catching Fire I hope just maybe Peeta will listen to Katniss and leave and not follow Beetees plan and it never happens.
Seeing Peeta so destroyed and tortured broke my fucking heart, but also at the same time he really scared me. Like when I read Mockingjay I pictured him more sad that murderous and it’s like my baby no what have they done to you omg. And every time they would do an interview you could see how much he was suffering and I was bawling. I always started bawling when they mentioned Cinna… Oh God I was a mess through basically the whole damn movie. God I loved it so much but it broke my heart!
People of Panem, we fight , we dare, we end our hunger for Justice….
