Lara Jean from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by the-bookish-wardrobe Lara Jean from the wonderful To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. Seriously, though. Read this book. It’s one of my favourites ever.
Fantastic series on display in our teen area today: The Princesses of Westfalin trilogy by Jessica Day George and the Burn for Burn trilogy by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian. The first is a middle grade series of fairy tale retellings starring clever and beautiful princesses who must find a way to escape a curse that not only threatens their family, but the very realm. The second is a story of bullying, friendship, and shocking surprises for older high schoolers. How far will these girls go to defend a friendship, exact revenge, and save a life?
The deadline for our creative writing contest is fast approaching, so get those fingers typing and submit!
Don't forget - our bullying prevention community meeting is tomorrow night at 6. All are welcome.
