Hi, sorry I've been so absent...
Hello lovely followers….I’m really sorry I haven’t been here at all for almost a year. But here’s the full “story” as to why I haven’t been here in a while.
First of all, I just wasn’t feeling inspired to make outfits any more and it got to the point where this felt more like a chore than a fun hobby. But there’s more to why I’m writing this now and what the actual purpose of this post is, besides apologizing for my absence.
So first I’m going to start off saying that I never intended for this blog to last. I know that sounds awful but I made it because I felt like it one day and because I love books and fashion. But it was really just a place for me to express myself online before I was able to do what I really wanted to do on the internet, besides mess around on dumb websites.
Basically, I wanted to make youtube videos, and this was my creative outlet until I could get a job and buy myself the stuff I felt like I wanted/needed for that.
I’ve actually wanted to make youtube videos since about 2009 but never built up the courage to do so and didn’t feel like I had a good enough camera.
So last year I got a job and was able to afford a new fancy camera and after that I started to make a few videos. Video making, besides school and work and writing, will be a priority of mine.
And even though I knew when I started this blog that I would eventually have to make this post, I still feel sad that I have to make it. I’ve had a lot of fun with this blog and have been noticed by the coolest people. I really appreciate everyone who’s followed me and liked and reblogged my stuff. Every time I would get a note on something I would be so happy because it would mean that someone, somewhere liked something that I created, something that I did all on my own, with my imagination. Reading that it back now, it sounds stupid, but I guess the meaning and thought’s there.
But I really, seriously do appreciate every single person who follows me and likes the stuff that I do. I think that’s why it’s so hard for me to do this haha.
Now, I’m not going to delete this blog, because I think it’ll be fun to look back at when I’m older, and because there are so many great memories attached to this blog.
Again, I’m really sorry about my absence, and that I’m going like this..
