âYouâve never met someone like me before?â Se echoed, a small smile forming on her lips. It was good to know that not many were like her, but then again everyone was different. âWell, thatâs good to know that Iâm an original I guess.â She mused slightly, only to look up at im with some sort of semblance of shock on her features. Se had been planning on making a comment about how long it had been since he had been to a backyard party, but the end of his sentence chased that right out of her train of thought. âWell, sorry to burst your bubble, but Iâm not madly in love with you.â She answered, dropping her gaze slightly to look at their feet, and then to look back up at him through her lashes.Â
âi just mean that youâre the typical âjockâ kinda guy, you know? The hot one who knows everyone, who goes to the good parties, who gets all the hot girls, has all the guys jealous that they canât be him⌠That kind of guy.â She stated slowly, her gaze flickering to those around them for a brief second. âI didnât mean anything by by it, I promise.â Sofia said, offering him a warm smile, only to let it dissolve into a chuckle. âThatâs a little forward for a girl you just met, donât you think?â She had to admit that she was entertained by the conversation that they were having, even if he was exceedingly flirtatious.Â
Smirking at her, Jordan gave the girl a nod. Heâs never really met a girl like her and that was a compliment. Even if heâs said that line to a ton of girls, this was definitely the first time heâs meant it. Her reactions were all natural and Jordan knew she was real. Some girls would have to fake everything just to be with him but she wasnât even showing much interest but the fact that sheâs staying must mean that she was getting hooked. Rolling his eyes playfully, Jordan let out a chuckle. Sure, she might not be in love with him right now but it was his goal to make her ask more of him by the end of the night. âYou say that now but let me get back to you on that statement in an hour. Iâm sure youâd respond differently. Probably with a kiss.â He smiled again, hoping it wasnât too much to make her walk away but just enough to get some hopes up.
Jordan had to hold his chest, acting as if he was being overwhelmed by Sofiaâs words. Once she was finished, he let out another chuckle. âFirst, Iâm not a jock. And second, I kind of stopped listening when you called me hot.â He didnât need anything else. She thought he was hot so that was step one. The next steps would just come like a snowball from that. âI have to admit, I feel honored to be called hot by someone whoâs extremely hotter than me. Weâre basically the hottest people in the party so why donât we separate ourselves from these idiots?â He suggested, finishing his drink and placing the cup down. âHey, itâs just a tattoo. Itâs fine, I have a couple. Some Disney princes marry their princesses just days after meeting them. Iâd say thatâs beyond forward.â He was talking to much, he didnât realize he just spilled something personal. Something heâd normally hide from his bad ass friends but being in front of Sofia, he felt like he could just be himself and not hide from his leather jacket. But still, it was quite embarrassing. âI mean, thatâs what Iâve heard...from my sister. And cousins.â Jordan was quick to take it back, hoping Sofia wouldnât tease him about secretly being a Disney geek.
