The Environment Keeps Happening to Me
Collaborative Work
Various installation pieces around Stratford exploring the concept of an unbound allotment. These designs utilise the missing pieces of London’s infrastructure, and highlight what you can do, and what you can grow, in spaces previously deemed to be unusable. The average apartment does not have a balcony or space to grow, and the average Londoner does not have access to a nearby allotment. We experimented with the idea that space is always available, so long as you can fit into that space perfectly. Laser cut and precisely measured designs mean each and every item fits perfectly into the empty broken space. We also utilised objects previously designated to be rubbish, recycling them into useful items.
