I've been writing a oneshot these past days. Tried to merge Doctor Who x Criminal Minds (In honor of Spencer's fanaticism for DW)...
Although I still don't know how to continue it.
I think I'll have to stay up watching DW to get more inspo 😅. And also don't know if I should divide the plot in different parts so that it can be a light reading (maybe?).
Anyway, I just hope I can continue planning the plot in the right way. 💕
So if I post it in the future: Would you read it based on its aesthetic? Just curious hehe.

Post prison!Spencer x GN!Reader: How did your relationship developed?
WC: 477
Note: I’m sorry if there are any spelling mistakes or if I’ve used any phrases wrong. English is my second language! If you notice any mistakes, please let me know. 🙏
I was watching the last few seasons and couldn’t help but completely fall for Reid all over again. I genuinely love him, even though Matthew seemed determined to make things as bad as possible for him. 😂 I’m not sure how this turned out since I wrote it at 4 a.m. and with my eyes barely open lol. I hope to have more ideas now that I finally had a break from college haha.
Also I don't remember who made the dividers, if anyone knows please tell me so I can give credits! ;) 💗
I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a like or reblog it. It means a lot to me.
Post-Prison!Spencer, who felt jealous when he rejoined the BAU and saw you occupying the desk next to his.
Post-Prison!Spencer, who initially treated you with hostility because you were his "replacement" while he was in prison, but you ended up staying on the team due to your efficiency.
Post-Prison!Spencer, who didn't try to get to know you because, according to him, "you were just another run-of-the-mill agent."
Post-Prison!Spencer, who, after Cyrus kidnapped him and Penelope, didn't expect you to be the one to stop the cult from sacrifying him. (He was completely in shock by your shooting skills.)
Post-Prison!Spencer, who began to notice your "subtle" (not so subtle) glances toward him while you were doing paperwork, on the jet, or profiling with the team.
Post-prison! Spencer, who noticed how you withdraw when you feel sad or frustrated, or how your stomach churns with nerves when an unsub or case hits close to home.
Post-prison! Spencer, who now can't take his eyes off you. He can't even be apart from you for more than five minutes. His mind subconsciously searches for ways to get closer to you and find peace once he has you in sight.
Post-prison! Spencer, who memorized how you drink your favorite drink. He also memorized when you should take medication and monitor whether you eat or sleep properly. Your well-being is essential to him.
Post-prison! Spencer, who was forced by Penelope to start showing affection through actions (because she knew words wouldn't work; he's not good at that). Unsigned notes like, "You look amazing today," or "Remember, you're loved." Even your favorite coffee started appearing on your desk a few minutes before you arrived at work, and you were still clueless about who was leaving it there.
Post prison! Spencer, after months of torturing his mind over what he feels (and a couple of talks with Diana when she was lucid), decided to confess his feelings to you at one of the few dinners Rossi hosted at his mansion.
"I know my mind is messed up and maybe I can't offer you much right now, but I'm willing to pick up every piece of my broken mind and put it back together if it means we can be together. I can't stand this feeling in my heart anymore every time I see you walk into the bullpen... I feel like when you look at me, it's because you've noticed how fast my heart is beating... Can you hear it right now? Can you hear how it beats for you?"
Post prison! Spencer, who despite having started going to a psychologist since getting out of prison, now not only tried to survive with that mechanism he developed thanks to the harsh reality of the dark and cold cell, but you are now also the driving force behind his journey toward healing.
Imagine Spencer every time you tell him "I love you."
He keeps count of all the times you've said "I love you."
Ever since you two met in a coffee shop, he's memorized every single word you've said, but the most important thing was that three-word phrase: I love you.
Spencer kept track of that in his mind.
Ever since you blurted it out while having coffee at the cafe near the FBI building (you always went there before he went to work), up to now, when you say it while both of you are snuggled up on the sofa watching a very very cheesy romance movie you forced him to watch.
But he doesn't give a damn about it. He isn't even paying attention to it.
His heart makes that characteristic flutter (which has now become routine) whenever his eyes meet yours, and his cheeks can't help but blush every time he hears you say those three words.
Emily was right about one thing: his IQ drops to 60 when he's around attractive people. And you're one of them.
