'Thanksgiving Sketches'

Seems like Thanksgiving gets overlooked more and more every year, but when I was growing up in the 80s it was a lot of fun to decorate for Thanksgiving. We drew hand turkeys (where you traced your hand and made a turkey out of it), colored pictures of the cornucopia with all the harvest foods, put up friendly scarecrow decorations, hay bales, pumpkins, and squash. I kinda miss that so I made some watercolor and ink sketches of Thanksgiving things. Thanksgiving is not as fancy as Christmas, but I do think it's important to slow down, take a day off and spend it with family and friends and remember God's blessings.

Here is my Inktober contribution. A gothic zombie bust, based on a Halloween decoration that I can't get (cause they won't ship it) so I painted a version similar to it. I used the gouache, watercolor, ink, and marker brushes in Infinite Painter.
