“That sounds like a reasonable reaction to it all.” Summer assured the blonde with a gentle squeeze of her hand and a small smile. “Is he alright? Did he cry? Was he a big baby when he saw this gorgeous little thing?” She asked wanting to know how Quinn had taken it all. Summer quickly waved off the girl’s thank you’s and simply shrugged. “You don’t have to thank me. I’m just glad that it’s going to be useful to another baby, especially this baby. I only hope the story and the blanket itself becomes something that gets passed down through generations and different families. I’m just glad this Audrey has a piece of the other Audrey and my grandma with her.”
“Oh he was great,” she says with a smile, in the event that she asked him, she’d let him explain how he felt. “I wasn’t really paying attention. I was tired. It’s been a blurry few hours.” She looked at the blanket in Summer’s with a tightness in her chest as Audrey made a soft little cooing noise. She missed Audrey, she thought as her arms held tight around her own, and sniffled. “Yeah, yeah, she will always know who they are, I’ll make sure of that.”
