this is stupid. the system isn't meant to help people it's meant to make people shut up and kill themselves quietly without causing a fuss and if they won't do that they get locked up.

I've been thinking a lot about Ivan and Andrew's color choices lately... SO NOW YOU'RE GONNA LISTEN TO MY RAMBLING.

(color theory lectures oh no)

So Andrew’s colors are pretty basic — it’s a triad. Two warm ones (yellow and red-purple) and one cool (green), a solid setup, like in any other color harmony

But Ivan’s case is way less straightforward. He doesn’t have a clear triad (or another harmony) - he’s got two out of the three primaries:

blue and red

Everything starts from there. These are the heaviest, most saturated colors. If you throw in all three primaries, it can get overwhelming, straight-up and painful to look at.. basically you need to know how to combine them //BUT THAT’S NOT EVEN THE MAIN POINT// SKIP SKIP SKIP

With Ivan:

-red is warm

-blue is cool

and they work almost like a contrast, even though technically red+green = basic complementary colors

And the whole thing is held together by gray and black - so really Ivan’s whole vibe is cold: gray, black, blue.

And red only shows up as a flash, like an accent honestly. That’s why he comes off way more intimidating, while Andrew feels warmer in tone and therefore more approachable. It’s just human nature.. I guess...how it actually works XDDDD

So... THAT'S ALL bruh
