Now that I've finally finished my official lab project, I have so much more free time to start reading again which is so exciting! This is an official call for all reading recommendations - classics, modern literature, or whatever takes your fancy. I'm relatively open-minded when it comes to the genre or type of fiction I'm reading, so bring forth any of your favourites and I'll definitely give them a try. At the moment, the book Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow has me near-tears, but in the BEST possible way. Brownie points to anyone who can offer a book that might make me cry.

I didn't realize it was actually a specific quote, but that sounds like just the one. I've got rough demos already, but I'm hoping to book time in one of the studios next week to start laying instrumentals and vocals -- the more I can get done now, the less I'll have to worry about it when other things start hitting, you know? Already hit the gym a few times in hopes to get back in it's good graces. Since that competition is about an month away then we gotta get things rolling. And quick! Especially when it comes to choreography. Don't wanna fuck that up during the show.

Oh, often. If you don’t realize something about yourself I feel like you’re probably doing it wrong, even if it’s something small like what you like and don’t like. Or who you like, and why you like them, in some cases.

I have a couple of my own songs ready to record for my production final, I feel like that counts. I won’t know how it turns out until I actually get into the booth with it, but I’m pretty excited about it already.

It sounds utterly fanatical, but the other day I overheard some fellow acting majors discussing this social media platform to socialise - but more importantly, to crawl into a rabbit hole of incredible, star-studded Broadway content, and my Gracious, were they correct! This website is my new favourite place to be, literally. For those who haven't met me yet, my name is Harmony Pearce (make sure to jot it down for when I'm eventually on Broadway!) and I'm a first year, acting major. After checking all the weather apps I have, I can honestly say I'm not looking forward to the sudden shift from tropical climate to the Midwest's interpretation of 'spring'. I barely ventured beyond the beach and I’m still trying to adjust back to Ohio levels of springtime. Favorite moment’s hard to choose though — probably a toss up between the Hut #3 jam sessions and that one karaoke bar takeover I barely remember, ha. I survived without third degree sunburns, at least, hopefully you can say the same?
