F2F ⇄ SEBELLIOTT.
Momentarily confused, Sebastian tilted his head, pondering over Elliott’s statement that happened to be a brief reference to a previous conversation. He nearly cringed as it dawned on him, the stress of the evening having made him forget about their online interaction in which he was far from pleasant. For the first time in his life, Sebastian didn’t know what to say, and he probably would have panicked, if it weren’t for Elliott’s smile reassuring him he was attempting to be playful rather than judgmental, “–Smythe, yes,” he managed, finally, with a nod, “Alexandre’s son, who is apparently very transparent, as you picked up on the fact right away that that is the only reason I am currently speaking to you, so if you could, keep smiling, and appear to be enjoying yourself,” he attempted to joke back, a smirk pulling at the corner of his lips, “Luckily for me, super hearing isn’t one of my father’s many super powers, even though I am sure if you looked over my shoulder at the man right now, his laser beam eyes are burning a hole in my back, you know, as he keeps an eye on me for the duration of our conversation.”
Elliott crossed over his arms and smiled. “You’re lucky that I’m a really nice guy; because I know for a fact that any other doctor in this room, wouldn’t give you this kindness just so you don’t get a slap on the arm from your dad. Besides, it helps me. He’s my boss now.” Gilbert chuckled softly as looked over at Alexandre Smythe. He was really enjoying his boss’ son’s company, much more than he was expecting to. “Well, I can definitely tell you that your father’s laser eyes are burning through the back of your head, so I would recommend a brain scan as soon as possible.” He paused, uncrossing his arms. “I’ll definitely keep an eye out for you when I need a resident, you’re entertaining, much more than I thought you would be.”
