maddox rowell:
“If there was one thing that I would always fight for, it would be you,” Maddox replied with a wink. It didn’t matter where they were, or who was around them, Madds only had eyes for his wife. He loved everything about her; every mood, every expression, every single thing that involved her. “Delicious enough to eat?” Maddox gave her a waggle of his brows, smiling as she kissed him. Taking Elliot’s hand in his, he gently spun her before bringing her against him again. “That’s what I look forward to every day I wake up, spending every day for the rest of our lives together, wife.”
Elliot smiled softly at him. For all her teasing and sarcasm, she was always putty in his hands. “I would fight for you too, always. That one time in Berlin was not a once off.” She laughed at the waggle of his eyebrows, quirking an eyebrow as she gave him an exaggerated flirty look. “Oh definitely, baby.” Elliot batted her eyelashes at him and played with his tie. Even though she was being playful, there was truth to her words. Maddox did look pretty enough to eat, and it was incredibly hard not to drag him somewhere where they could be alone. However, she was enjoying the dance. Her dress flared out slightly around her feet as he twirled her, she knew that they looked the part of the fairy tale couple they teased people about. When she was back in his arms, Lo leaned her head against him. “Every day, forever,” she said softly as she closed her eyes. “You know you don’t have to romance me as hard anymore, I’m completely enraptured by you as it is.”
