Everything was on track until Tails stumbled across a mysterious book in their garage; it spoke of mystical creatures, dungeons, and... how to eat monsters. When Sonic and Knuckles look through the book with Tails, they brush it off as an old video game guide Tom had hidden away...
Until they woke up the next morning in a strange world like the one described in the book.
