Life on the Tardis #2
I noticed only afterwards that Rose never wears nail polish but let’s just say maybe she found a bottle somewhere in the Tardis left by another companion and tried it on to distract herself…
Life on the Tardis #1
Rose and the 10th Doctor ✨
I’m going to my first con as an artist this year, so I’ve been working on a series of illustration for magical girls themed trade cards.
Here are the first 5 of the series : the sailor guardians✨
There’s a fascinating legend in Lyon about a terrifying underwater monster living under le bridges of the city which is called “La Mâchecroute”.
She raises waters and floods the streets when she is angry, destroying everything in her way.
Once she is satisfied, she goes back to sleep on the bottom of the river.
There’s a really issue of a local graphic novel magazine called “Les Rues de Lyon” about La Mâchecroute by Océane Sandon and Tam Jouvray.
Been a while since I posted something here. Here’s a spread on the theme of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. I’m a big fan of the musical.
Bookmark designs.
I was in the mood for making something cute and fun…
The Angel of Destiny
Character design study for Adrian, one of the many characters from my webtoon Miranda the witch.
It needed an update and we see them on the episode I’m currently storyboard ont, I needed to get them in my hand… if you see what I mean…
The forgotten fairy knight
I’ve been working on more personal projects lately so haven’t had much time to make stuff for social media lately…
Here’s the last few pages of my sketchbook.
I’ve been feeling like working on original illustrations more and playing around with different medias, mostly traditional (I’m growing tired of staring at a screen for hours…) and it’s sorta going somewhere, don’t know where, but it’s going and that’s what matters.
Still playing around with gouache and it’s finally going somewhere. I got myself some new gouache brushes and it made all the difference.
I’m sort of happy with one but it still needs more playing around. Here I mixed paint and color pencils cause I really like to texture of pencils grain on top of the gouache. Let’s see what I can come up with next…
Not feeling much inspired lately. When that happens I sometimes go get myself something new to play with, and since I’ve wanted to get back to inking with a nib pen, rather than with a brush, that’s what I got myself.
I used to ink a lot with a nibpen years ago and stopped for some reason, so it’ll get some practice to get back on that horse.
A fairy knight pledging to his fairy king. I’m really trying to understand how to use gouache again… oh how frustrating this medium is but I got some breakthroughs on this one…
