I asked my mom to watch my son for a few hours today. I was in dire need of some self care. Got my eyebrows done, blow dried my hair and slabbed some make up on. Oh and fooled around with my husband 😏😏❤️ I cried after I dropped him off. But it was needed.

I wonder if anyone ever looks at me while I’m doing something and thinks I’m pretty. Because I do that all the time to people.

Tumblr makes me lovesick and unable to express it and then squashed together with the rest of my hopinghopelesshopeful thoughts and then i soothe it all with my daydreams of a four pawed creature company, white soft blankets& the ideas of my home made flower pots lining my windowsills. Soon. But until then, the key is 🗝 i gotta do what the Lord whispers. And i know that it’s one day at a time for me. It’s a stepping back from these sort of things, the pretty images or all the little (& big) things that enables this weary ole mindset. This isn’t hope, it’s illusion, or disillusion.

I think it’s back to reading books before bedtime!
