While such an origin wouldn’t suit the Prime Joker, it fits well within the Elseworlds framework, exploring pure, ancient evil and reinforcing the Absolute Universe’s aim to heighten stakes and darkness around DC’s iconic characters.

Blizzard announced #DiabloIV: Lord of Hatred, launching April 28, 2026, on #Xbox One, Series X|S, Steam, and other platforms.

The expansion introduces two new classes, a new region, and overhauls Skills, Itemization, and endgame systems.
