Hiatus Flashback: Snow 1.03 Snow Falls
You’re the only thing in this whole place that feels right.
Josh Dallas on the set of Once Upon a Time, in Fort Langley, Canada (July 12, 2016)
People ask what it’s like playing Prince Charming, but it’s not something you really think about when you go to work.
Ginny and Josh being super adorable on set on Wednesday (July 13th)
“No, no special occasion.” Payden had to think on it for a minute just to make sure that he didn’t in fact forget an important date. Nothing came to mind,—thankfully. “I love you too. I’d do anything for you. You should already know that.”
“OKAY THEN, MY PRINCE.” Elvira chuckled, pulling away from his arms then back to his little set up. “I know that, Payden. Just know that I’ll do the same for you.” She chuckled, stealing another kiss before he could even catch her.
“We’re not yet married and already you’re promising me pain.” Payden’s eyes squinted in humor, the signs of his utter happiness shone through in the goofy looking smile on his face. He held the love of his life closely, his arms tightly wrapped around her body. God, how he’d missed this. Every day apart felt like torture, and now that she was here in his arms again, he never wanted to let her go. She was his sun, his moon, his reason for being. Her admission brought on a slight chuckle. Not that he disagreed with her statement. He agreed wholeheartedly. They were soulmates, and he believed that in each birth, they would always find their way to each other, no matter what. “You better. I have this feeling that I might turn into a professional stalker just to be with you. I would scour the earth to find you. If that means being a stalker then so be it.” He confirmed with the added laughter.
“OH COME ON, pain’s like married to us. It follows us everywhere.” The Princess giggled and squeezed him tightly. No words can express how badly she wanted this. How badly she wanted him again. But numbers can. It would be infinity if someone would only ask her. Years without him felt like darkness loomed over her castle and brought nothing but rain and pain and sorrow. Now that he’s here with her, there’ll always be sunshines and rainbows and unicorns and flowers and love. It’s a funny thought but it describes her love for him. It’s magical but real. “Hmm.. In another life, I’ll probably ask for a restraining order if ever you’ll become that crazy stalker.” Elvira chuckled. “Though I think I’ll be better at stalking. Women knows everything. I probably know it or found out about it even before you do.”
Payden was a little surprised by the kiss, but he didn’t complain. Why should he? The woman that he loved was kissing him. This felt like a dream come true. “I love you…” He mumbled with his lips still lingering against hers. “It’s for you. Do I have to have a reason to do something nice for you?”
“I THOUGHT THAT there might be a special occasion that I might have forgotten. I don’t want to feel bad about it or anything to be honest.” She chuckled nervously and looked back what he did. “I love you, Payden. This is very sweet of you. Thank you.”
Payden wore a cheeky smile, eyes glimmering with happiness as he waited for the love of his life to give him the answer. The wait wasn’t long, he received his answer almost straight away along with a tackled hug. “Ow…” He chuckled as he caught Elvira in his arms, grip tightened around her, holding her close. “I love you too, and thank you for agreeing to marry me, but must you tackle me like that? I think you broke a bone.” He teased, laughing at the thought. Seconds later, he tilted his head to the side and gingerly swipe some hair away from her face. “—I love you, Elvira. Thank you for agreeing to marry me.” His words were spoken quietly, his heart brimming with love for his soulmate, and one true love.
ELVIRA FELT SAFE and warm in his tight grip. She could get use to this forever. Take it as making it up for their lost time together. She didn’t want to leave his side ever again. Payden’s her happines, her life, her love and her soul. She waited for too long with an ache in her heart for this to happen. Spending her life with him was the only thing she desired. “Yes. It’s a must to tackle hug you and break your bones with all the strength in me and all my love for you.” She teased, burying her face on his neck. Oh God, how she missed him so much. How she missed this. “Even if we’re in another life, I’ll always find you and marry you. My heart will always belong to you in any other world we live in.” The Princess looked upon his face and smiled brightly at him.
Payden stared down at the rose petals that were strewn across the bed to be shaped like a heart. “Thank you. I did it for you of course. Do you like it?”
ELVIRA GRINNED WIDELY and hopped as she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a short but sweet kiss. “I love it!” She said in between the kiss. “What is it for though?”
“ON SECOND THOUGHT, this is quite impressive. I like what you did here.” Elvira nodded approvingly as she looked over at her company. “What made you do it?”
“Let go of me, I’m not a child!”
“BUT YOU’RE REALLY pretty adorable.”
“But that blue one looks so white…” Ayesha argued her point. “—Must be the lighting.—If you must know the answer, I would go for that blue one. Still think it looks white though.”
“ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT. I’LL wear this blue dress that looks so white.” Elvira grinned widely and gave her the other one. “This is a pretty dress.”
Payden was dead serious. He would propose right this minute, and marry Elvira within the hour if she would allow him. Plenty of time had been wasted, and he didn’t want to waste anymore. “—I know,” He replied with regret and sadness. He’d screw things up for them utterly these past two years, and he didn’t want to continue making that mistake. As she cupped his face, he shifted his head, and placed a gentle kiss upon her open palm. “I love you more. I’ve never stopped loving you. Not even for a minute.” Although Elvira had already asked, the Prince got down on his knees anyway. He took her hand, pressing a kiss upon it and with love shining from his eyes, he asked the question he already knew the answer to. “Will you, Elvira Claret, make me the happiest man on earth and agree to be my wife and princess?”
ELVIRA DIDN’T MEAN for him to propose right now. Her happiness merely lead her for saying it. However, with him on his knees, and his words of promises finally fulfilled, there’s no backing out. There’s no more running away and making her pain get any worse. Today’s the day that they’re back in love again. Fate brought them together meaning, fate wanted them to get their happy ending. Her smile touched the sky’s above. No other woman or man or anyone could get in the way of her happiness. Payden’s her life now. He’s the reason why she’s whole again. And she’d fight against everyone who will ever take him away from her. A tear fell down from the side of her cheeks as she watched his love get down on his knees. “Yes! I do! I will marry you. I love you so much!” She grinned widely and tackled hug him on the ground.
“What are you doing here?”
“I’M SORRY. Am I not allowed to be in here?”
