Spellbook Candles and Ghosts

🎃 I drew this one thinking about a short story for him :

He's a fat teenager, maybe 12 or 13. He get bullied at school because of his weigh, he's called the fat crybaby and the weirdo. He hides himself in fictional worlds, a lot of books, comics and games. (He would love board games but have no friend to play with.) One day, he finds a spellbook and wants to try it, not knowing if he really believed in it. But he tries anyway.

As he's not a wizard he goes into all kind of stereotypes books and stories have taught him. He tries his best. Getting black clothes (the donut tshirt was his only black shirt remaining), red cape and shoes. He collected all the house's candles, including halloween's, some birthday ones and her mom's scent ones. He drew the magical circle present on the book on the floor, standing in the middle. He concentrated a lot and unexpectedly it worked. Ghosts came out.

What should he do now ? 🎃

Royalty Raven BlackCat It's not really as good as I would have wanted. But I guess I can't draw what I imagine for now.. I need to progress a lot. I wanted something really more precious, detailed, golden, like jewelry. Maybe if I stopped doing full pics I could work on details..

But it's nice tho. First time I draw a raven and I'm bad at birds so I guess it's cool.

My prompt for October 2018 Witchtober

I put one drawing on 2 days because I know I won't be able to do one per day.

Some days are detailed, it's just that I had a list of too many drawing themes so I combined some. Also it helps me with my pieces' constructions.

Foreshadowing : I didn’t managed to do all Witchtober because of reasons, but I’ll finish the prompt quietly over time as if it wasn’t due to october.

Friend’s Mom

☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆ ☆ Finished ☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆ 

  After several weeks, and 32 hours of work I'm glad to present... THE FINISHED PIECE ! Nyahahahahahaha!!!!! The first idea was simpler, like a simple cartoonish pattern in the circle with chocolate and a bit of wool. Well... it ended up wayyyy more complicated and detailed. So this is a composition for my bff's mom, I spend way too much time at her home and she's too nice. Also she's a great cook and baker and she knits pretty well too ! So I draw her. I wanted to print it and offer it to her but... I get unsecure and I think it’s not that great and it’ll probably won’t please her so I gave up on that idea...

Weird Old Style Painting

As I said I was bored at work but I don't have my PC to draw the piece I'm working on these days, so I joined #ddkinzart1500kchallenge , @ddkinzart . With a weird piece. It belongs in my "experiments" section. I tried to use aquarelle for fun and it's harder than I thought ! 😸 But even if the result is... special, I like it. I like the shades and I loved playing with water ! One day I'll learn how to properly use aquarelle tho. But honestly she's yellow guys. Yellow. It wasn't supposed to be yellow at all ! 🙀 Also her eyes are supposed to be nearly transluvid blue, but the pic isn't good enough to see all the colors.

It all started from an ugly doodle I did without any idea of what I was doing and I liked it and decided to digitalized it ! . I tried a new software, I was used to Gimp and im trying FireAlpaca.

I did it before the snow leopard but I waited to have a signature to post it. . So here's my uh.. kind of goddess.

Watermark

So I've got a new PC, what means... I can draw on it ! Time to get my tablet back from the dust of my room and draw something cool ! But... I'll need something to sign. First things first : getting a watermark signature. And here it is ! . I'm not used to draw those kind of curvy round little cute things so it's not amazing but I'm proud of the result. I spend the afternoon on it. I missed digital drawing and I didn't even know I did ! I keep a transparent version to sign my future drawings (mostly digital ones). Also that's really weird, but on phones the drawing is more maroon but on PC it's grey. Both are nice to me, but it's supposed to be grey just so you know 🧡
