Pro Tip - USE ELECTIVE MODE: If you're reading this, you are more than likely an experienced gamer, so it is at this time I urge you to immediately turn on Elective Mode upon starting a game of Diablo 3.
The default mode is a tutorial mode meant to guide people not familiar with action RPGs. Elective mode will open up the game for you if you've spent this entire time being restricted by the button assignments/Skill Categories.
Options -> Gameplay
Pro Tip - QUICK JOIN: Do you want some relaxing single player time in Diablo 3? Do you want to move through the lore/explore at your own pace? Do you want all of that without the awkwardness of asking a friend to GTFO your game? Then disable Quick-Join (an otherwise good feature in its own right)! This will have the game prompt you if someone wants to join your game.
Pro Tip - Save your click finger
While there are some arguments/reports about it being slower than spam clicking, you can hold down the mouse button (or keyboard) to fire off spam abilities at attack speed. This is especially true early in the game when you only have 1 to 3 abilities to use.
This is in contrast to "streaming" abilities (ie. Tempest Rush, Rapid Fire, Fire Bats) that onlywork when you hold down the button.

So with the item database being updated next week it’s important to keep in mind that what we’re going to have on the website are the items that are actually possible for us to show. If Diablo is about nothing else it’s about randomization, and Diablo III is no different. While all items have some variance, either in their armor range or the affixes they roll, the vast majority of items (~99%) are entirely random. It’s also true that the entirely random items are going to be among the most coveted, and therefore the focus of the majority of the item hunt. What you’ll see on the site next Monday are the handmade items that a designer named and set specific stats and ranges for. What you won't see is the majority of the game's entire item pool, which exists in the near limitless randomized permutations.

About This
Old School
A bit of house cleaning before I get into any actual posting. This is mostly for anyone that followed me as I blogged over at borsked.com about WoW stuff. I decided to move to something simple and un-focused since I won't be continuing with WoW into MoP (perhaps I'll write on my exit from WoW at some point). This won't be exclusively gaming or sports or movies; just whatever pops into my head.
New School
I couldn't think of a clever tumblr name like "Close-Up Animals With A Wide-Angled Lens Wearing Hats" or something, so "E-Man Over 140" seems good enough for something that's essentially a place to drop (extremely) long tweets. I'm not sold on this theme, but it seems ok enough for now.
This time around I went with tumblr since the extra "stuff" that Wordpress offers is kind of overkill for what I want to do.
