I hope that everyone has been having great New Year. Right now, I'd like to direct your attention to the family of Muhammad Shehab and Mona Shehab (@dedomohamed1992) , who are currently still stuck in Gaza.
I've mentioned their story in the past and I'm here to remind you of their little daughters, Iman and Toleen Shehab. Unfortunately, things haven't been going well for their family.
Donations have stopped and with winter already here, Iman and Toleen are forced to endure their childhoods without basic necessities for winter; food, proper clothes and other necessities needed for living. The prices in Gaza are very high and with their family not receiving any money from donations, the little ones are currently starving in cold weather.
I'm writing this post to appeal and reach out to everyone that can help. By donating a little money to their fundraiser, we can help Iman and Toleen and ensure them basic needs.
You can find their campaign here (under #111), as their are verified by Gaza Vetters.
Once again, I'm reminding you all that every action, no matter how small, matters. Donations, shares and reblogs can all be extremely helpful so please don't hesitate to do what you can to shine a little light for these two young girls!

The Shehabs are wonderful people, to whom came a great misfortune. you might remember me making a post for them before, before their old campaign was forcefully closed, the money seized and returned to the donors. they've started a new campaign, and unfortunately, only around 200€ was received in 3 months. you all know the situation in gaza. there is no amenities, barely any water, or clothes, but most importantly - no food. Mohammed and Mona have two lovely daughters and he had sent me messages of them crying and wailing from pure hunger. NO CHILD SHOULD GO THROUGH THAT, no matter where they are. Mohammed is willing to take pictures of the food they will buy with the donated money, so i can add it onto this post.
Little Iman and Toleen have no food!!!
The family is vetted by @gazavetters, #111!
They also have a blog on tumblr, @mohammedshehabtt, through which you can contact them. They would really appreciate having more contact with the outside world and people to help them in crisis. i personally talk to them through whatsapp.
Please donate, or if you can't, share to those who do. Thank you for caring.

People of Gaza... Read, understand, and participate. Many insightful people don't believe what's happening in Gaza, or the idea that it's a restricted area—and we've seen this a lot on social media.
But the truth?
The aggression has destroyed Gaza from north to south. Gaza today isn't a city; Gaza today is a life of remnants. Gaza no longer has "living"... it has "survival attempts." It has become rubble. The streets have become cemeteries. Electricity, water, internet... have become memories.
And luxuries are missing. Hospitals? Paralyzed. Schools? Turned into temporary shelters, or destroyed. Electricity?
Since the first days of the war, it's been cut off. A very small group has solar energy, and it's become a resource for the people... but at a price. Can you imagine? Your phone battery is dead? You have to pay 2 shekels to fill it up. Power bank? 3 shekels.
A large battery?
7 shekels. Everything has a price, even charging, even electricity. And the prices? Crazy and outrageous!
Internet?
There's no home internet. Temporary cards are sold by people who have electricity and internet. The price of a card ranges from 1 to 5 shekels ($0.50 to $1.50), depending on the time and speed. And the cost of living? A kilo of tomatoes = 30 shekels ($9) A kilo of cucumbers = 25 shekels ($7) A kilo of potatoes = 50 shekels ($13 – if they even exist) A kilo of eggplant = 30 shekels ($8) A single cigarette? 50 to 120 shekels ($13-$32!) A loaf of bread? Almost nonexistent, and flour is running out. Some people have resorted to smoking ground herbs,They added nicotine, carbon, sugar, and sometimes pesticides and toxic substances... to give it flavor! So, how do people live? Some have nothing. Some cook over wood. Some eat one meal a day or less. Some grow parsley or lettuce, or whatever they want to eat to survive. Some make soup with water and onions... And some don't eat at all. No food, no gas, not enough flour. Prices are skyrocketing, and people don't have anything. A normal kilo of vegetables has become more expensive than in European cities. And a single cigarette is more expensive than a large meal for an entire family!
Water?
Contaminated, salty, and undrinkable. People filter it using primitive methods, boil it, or drink it while it's contaminated because "there's no alternative." Gas? It's been cut off for more than a month and a half. People cook over wood, charcoal, or anything that could catch fire. Health situation? There aren't enough medicines, no equipped hospitals, no medical equipment, and no sufficient staff. People are getting sick... and silently waiting for death.

How are people coping?
People with relatives abroad are transferring money.
Simple. Some people work in small shops, or sell anything they can. Some charge batteries for people in exchange. And others wait for help from a benefactor.
And money transfers?
Imagine someone sending you $500... You actually only receive $250. Why?
So you can take a money transfer from the office and transfer it to a bank account, not receive 20% cash. When you receive cash, they take another 30%. That means half the money transfer is gone! Theft? Unfortunately, it's becoming a thing. People who have been displaced from their homes, there are people who enter and loot everything...
Although everyone is hurt and broken, the war has changed everything. And displacement? The occupation drops leaflets from planes: "Leave your area immediately, it has become a danger zone." Imagine a leaflet being dropped from a plane, ordering you to leave your home immediately... So you get up, gather a few things, and leave. You leave your home, your memories, the scent of your children...and walk into a tent. A small tent...that doesn't protect you from bombing, the cold, the heat, or the fear. And you don't know if or when you'll return, or if you'll ever find your home again.People are either displaced, broken, hungry, or oppressed.People in Gaza... there's no longer any difference between rich and poor, doctor or vendor. Everyone is hurting, everyone is in need. There's no such thing as "living." There's something called "steadfast." Even steadfastness is slowly being shattered.Help us make our voices heard. Help us break the silence. Gaza is not a number... Gaza is souls, children, mothers, dreams... bleeding. The pain must come out of Gaza... the world must listen.

My name is Mona Shehab, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where life has become an unimaginable struggle. Our days are filled with uncertainty, and the hope for a better future feels like a distant dream.

The road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Life in Gaza Today:
💔 Overwhelming Loss: The pain of losing so many family members is impossible to describe.
🍽️ Barely Getting By: Even basic necessities like food and water are becoming harder to afford.
🏠 No Safe Shelter: Our homes, once our refuge, now feel fragile and unsafe.
📚 Dreams on Hold: The pursuit of education and opportunities has been replaced by the constant fight for survival.
What We Need:
In these desperate times, even a small gesture can mean so much. A $5 donation could provide us with food or water for a day. If you can’t donate, simply sharing our story could help us reach someone who can.
Your Support Gives Us Hope:
This isn’t just about financial help—it’s about knowing that someone, somewhere, cares. Your kindness can be a source of strength for us, a reminder that we’re not alone in this fight
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line
Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 might not seem like much, but it could mean a meal, clean water, or a tiny bit of hope for my family.
Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.
I’m not asking for much—just a little hope, a little relief, and a chance to keep moving forward. Your generosity, in any form, can make a difference in ways you might not even imagine.
I am Wolfie and I live in France, and I created this campaign for … Wolfie Lasbennes needs your support for Help Iman and Toleen rebuild the
Thank you for taking the time to hear my story. Your kindness means more than words can express.
