Help a Chronically poor black trans man during Juneteenth

Happy hollow federal holiday thats a liberal mask to conceal the real ways the government has continually shot down any systematic change recently proposed that would actually improve the livelihood of any black person in the country myself included 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m posting today because my last post never really got the traction it needed to get the goal reached as well more events happening and just the overall mental drain it takes on me to continuously update and boost these posts in a time sensitive manner when I’m in a very unstable and vulnerable position in all aspects of life rn.

In short I was able to raise just enough to cover this month, but we’re still strapped for July. My ex-roommate is dodging all calls from the landlord and at this point I hope they lose their deposit but even so it’s un likely our landlord will use that to cover the last month of the lease. Moreover we’re extra fucked because they never communicated with us about switching the gas and electric bills to our name and without them on a three way call to change things we got stuck with this shit.

And to add insult to injury I lost the same job for the second time with no explanation after wasting my time and all the money poured into doing orientation and two interviews which is devastating to say the least.

The only thing I have going for a me at the moment aside from a dear friend coming to see me in a week is I’ve finally spoken to a lawyer about getting my unpaid PUA benefits sorted and possibly a discrimination suit against the shelters I lived in the past few years. How long until I get anything out of those ventures I have no clue, but until then I’m still unemployed and my mental health is tanked and this is what I have to my name.

James Charles is being outed as a literal pedophile who talks about wanting to “date as young as possible” “I’m not attracted to physically or mentally older people” “preferring guys in high school” while exclusively hanging around with 15-18 year olds and being exposed every few months for sending flirtatious and sometimes outright sexual messages to 15 and 16 year old fans (recently he was caught sending NUDES to a 16 YEAR OLD. He is 21) most of which he initiates.

These children had their ages in their bios, he’s accusing them of lying about their age.

Like I know none of yall care about him but we need to acknowledge the level of influence he has ESPECIALLY with young people. This man has 25 MILLION subscribers. He has literally admitted to all of this in a fucking “apology video” which people seem to think makes these literal crimes okay. He’s facing almost no repercussions for this and is gonna keep coaxing forward doing this again and again if we don’t talk about it.

You can’t accidentally fake depression, or anxiety, or bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia, or any other mental illness.

You can’t accidentally fake Borderline Personality Disorder, Histrionic Personality Disorder, personality disorders.

You can’t accidentally fake ADHD, autism, Tourette’s Syndrome, auditory processing disorder, aphasia or any other neurodivergence

You can’t accidentally fake being trans or ace-spec or aro-spec or any other LGBTQIA+ identity.

You can’t accidentally fake chronic illnesses like CFS, fibromyalgia or any chronic illness.

You also can’t accidentally fake being good/intelligent at something. You didn’t fool your peers into reaching your position.

You can’t accidentally fake trauma, PTSD/cPTSD, DID/OSDD/DDNOS or any other trauma-based disorder.

Tldr:

Faking is a conscious choice.

You cannot do it by accident.

If you are worried that you are faking, that in itself is proof that you are not.

In Memoriam Ken Andrews (@baapi-makwa​)

Beloved father, beloved son, beloved Ojibwe artist, and beloved friend to many walked on this morning, the 27th of April 2021. He was born July 18th, living in northern Wisconsin.

As an artist, he worked primarily with pen and paper, making a modern spin on traditional designs and drawings. He used the  moniker Baapi Makwa (’laughing bear’) and that reflected his light-hearted and kind spirit. He loved bears, video games such as Dragon Age and Warcraft, drawing, puppies, his kitties Bambalam and Oscar, his family, learning his language, Gichigami, and flowers.

He is survived by his father and his two twin daughters. He is already sorely missed. We hope he is happy and soon to reunite with his mom, his pup Chase, and his belly button.
