Making aus as a fan who fixates on one (1) character is so hard because I do truly want my blorbo to be the prettiest girl at the party. All the other characters need meaningful moments and important motivations and backstory and internal thoughts. But here's my special guy. Everyone look at him the most. Clap or ill blow this whole building up

i’m working on an analysis of lucifer as neurodivergent, and i cannot get over how he uses flying as a form of stimming. he always seems to be at his happiest and most confident when he’s moving through the air: the storybook sequence, ‘more than anything,’ his fight with adam, the beginning of ‘vox populi’…

all this to say, imagine the first time he gets so overwhelmed with excitement that he just.. scoops you up and takes off around the room (because he also likes to hold the people he loves, i noticed that too). instinctively, you panic and wrap your arms around his neck as your heart pounds in your chest, the sudden absence of the floor beneath your feet making your stomach lurch. you feel the urge to scold him for the absolute heart attack he just gave you..

until you look up and see how happy he is. it’s the first time since you’ve met that he looks.. unburdened. free. his wings flutter behind him as he looks down at you with a beaming smile, and you swear your pulse jumps at the sight. he somehow looks even more beautiful like this, a feat you didn’t even know was possible.

he suddenly seems to realise that he’s gotten carried away, his smile fading and cheeks flushing as he sets you both back down. his wings retract, leaving him looking much smaller and more vulnerable. a sheepish, almost nervous, laugh escapes his lips.

“uh-” he clears his throat, his fingers fidgeting by his side. “sorry about that. i-i got a little carried away.”

you reassure him with your smile, stepping closer into his space until your arms are touching, fingers brushing together, so close to intertwining. the way his breath hitches at the contact makes it almost impossible for you not to kiss him silly right there in the lobby.

“it’s fine,” you promise, reaching down to press a kiss to his warm cheek, which turns even warmer at the contact. “i thought it was cute.”

congratulations. you have officially killed the infamous morningstar with affection. he is now a puddle on the floor.

I have not seen enough angst about Lucifer falling in love with a hotel resident.

You are his best friend. He never would’ve thought he’d become fond of a Sinner, but you were just so… you. So funny and sweet and smart and beautiful and perfect. The fact that you’re down here at all is a dagger in his heart, a reminder of how fickle Heaven can be with whom they choose worthy to enter their gates. Yet, selfishly, he can’t help but be grateful sometimes, because if things were just a little fairer, he never would’ve known you at all.

You make him laugh — not the haughty chuckle he puts on to sound more confident than he feels, but the high-pitched giggles that he always gets embarrassed by. You listen to him when he rambles, and you can calm down when he gets too worked up. Until you, joy was a fleeting thing, especially when he was alone. But now it fills his chest every time he so much as lays eyes on you. You are everything to him, and he loves you so much it brings tears to his eyes sometimes.

But one day, you’ll leave. That’s the whole reason you’re here, to become a better person and one day leave Hell. And he knows this, but he tries not to think about it too much, because if it does, he knows it will break him. He will be alone again, and he’s not sure if his heart can handle the pain of two lost loves. He just wants you to stay. He wants you to choose him, to love him enough to never leave him, to choose him over the life you actually deserve.

He can’t say any of that, though. He can’t keep you trapped down here, when you belong somewhere better. You deserve to breathe in clean air and wake up to the sound of birdsong instead of gunshots and screams. You deserve more than him, and even if he is a selfish man, he would never stand in the way of your true happiness, even if it means he will never see you again.

So he’ll listen with a smile on his face as you tell him about the activities you did that day, as Charlie informs him of the breakthroughs you’ve made, while pretending each step you take further away from him doesn’t chip away at his already fragile being. For you, he will let himself chip away until there is nothing left but dust and the promise he made to love you for the rest of his eternal life even when you’re not there.

Sketching/drawing is where I find most of my joy in the art process so I drew my favorite fellas at, likely, their most casual.

I really, really like the challenge of applying realistic musculature and mass to otherwise very cartoony figures, so these were both relaxing and very fun to work on.

Been thinking about sparks duo a lot lately, so I started working on a visual novel...

I was thinking more about my Roleswap!AU (from this ask I sent to @willoryn), and that led my mind to wander to what Lucifer and Lilith’s lives would be like when they were alive. These can also be used for just a general human AU, so I thought I would share them.

Lucilith Human!AU Headcanons

Lilith is an award-winning singer/songwriter and Broadway actress. She’s widely beloved, and uses her platform to speak out about issues that affect people. A lot of the money she makes goes to different charities and causes. In interviews, she’ll often call Lucifer her muse for the more lovey dovey songs.

Lucifer is a toymaker who also does some voice acting for children’s cartoons (he likes doing silly voices that he knows will make the kids laugh). Also puts on his own shows with toys and puppets in his store. Lilith’s biggest supporter, and has appeared in several of her songs either as backing vocals or for a duet with her. He occasionally helps her come up with lyrics.

They both wear reading glasses, for no other reason than I think they’d both look hot with glasses. Lucifer has those big round wireframe glasses, while Lilith’s are rectangular with a slightly thicker frame. Lucifer also wears his on a chain around his neck because he constantly loses or breaks them (he will NOT tolerate any grandpa jokes 😤).

They have a joint TikTok account, which is a lot of Lilith backstage/in rehearsals and Lucifer putting on little skits with his toys or messing around in the recording booth. They also do those corny couples challenges and sing (mostly romantic) duets together. Everybody loves how cute they are and how much they clearly love each other (there are compilations of Lucifer staring at Lilith with his dopey smile, or Lilith making goo-goo eyes while Lucifer’s back is turned).

They have date nights every Saturday (sometimes more, but Saturday is a constant), and take turns picking where they go/what they do each week. Lucifer fluctuates between picking the fanciest restaurants/clubs and getting dressed up in their finest, or watching a movie in their matching onesies (Lucifer has a duck, Lilith has a swan). Lilith’s choices are usually somewhere outside, like a moonlit picnic or a walk along the beach. She likes every date to feel like an adventure.

Lucifer likes to make art in all mediums. Sculpting, painting, drawing, etc. He has a lot of ideas buzzing around in his head so he’s constantly sketching and doodling (just imagine him hunched over a sketchbook, brow furrowed in concentration, glasses slipping down his nose as the tip of his tongue pokes out between his lips…).

Lilith, on the other hand, prefers photography. Her camera roll is full of pretty landscapes and candids of Lucifer taken when he isn’t looking.
