Betty Cooper is an awful character.

She is annoying.

She is a toxic person.

She is an awful friend.

She is so selfish.

She is such a Mary Sue.

She is so hypocritical.

She fails to see how well off she is.

She is the main focus of the show when she clearly shouldn’t be.

There I said it.

The worst part is her character has so much room for GOOD development. But it just doesn’t seem to be heading in that area.

Also understand that I have to no hate towards Lili, and I would never hate on her because she is not her character. Unlike majority of the Betty stans who attacked Vanessa.

You know what’s really sad?

Alice feels like no one has ever loved her. Hal Cooper sure didn’t. Hell, he even tried to kill her. FP certainly didn’t act like he did in high school, even though I know he did and was just too much of an idiot to admit it. Even now I’m sure she thinks she’s just a good time for him like always. I assume that her mother was probably a dirt bag too based on how much she hated her home life. All she has is her kids, one of which she was forced to give away, and the other two she struggles to hang on to. She has always been lonely and lost and felt unloved. And now I’m sad and gonna go cry.

I know I spend a lot of time pointing out Riverdale’s flaws but the one character I have always loved and have never said a negative word about is Fred Andrews. Luke Perry brought to life the best Riverdale parent. The one character that was always there for his son and was willing to do whatever it took to keep him safe and it’s absolutely heartbreaking to hear that Luke Perry has passed away. Riverdale will never be the same again without him. Rest in peace Luke Perry. You were fantastic.

The crazy thing about Luke Perry’s death is that I finally understand why people cried when Elvis died. We didn’t know this man personally but he was apart of our lives anyway and it’s such a weird thing to come to terms with the fact that he won’t be alive anymore. We won’t see his face again…rest in peace Luke Perry❤️
