This blog is now closed. I should have made this post a long time ago. I don't believe I will continue writing Ember's updates or continue rp's. I do apologise if you were someone I promised to rp with eventually. I've lost my passion for this blog. Ember will always be important to me, she's what got me into meeting a majority of my online friends but I haven't felt any passion to write as her for quite a long time. I've progressed in my writing and character development. This blog will remain but further interaction is unlikely. I owe a lot to the people who interacted with this blog, with me and even became my friends due to it. This is also not to say I'm no longer part of the undertale fandom, I am, perhaps not as much as I was but undertale holds a very special place in my heart. It's just Ember's content won't continue. Thank you to all the people who followed this blog, I know this blog has never been big but I appreciate the people who took the time to read the posts; so thank you.

A Good Gift

Saudade arrived to the Timeline, excited for the special day. One of his good friends had their birthday today and that meant he was due for a visit! He had spent the last week scouring timelines for a good gift! Saudade crossed Snowdin until he arrived at Ember’s house with a gift for her.

Happy Birthday Ember!

Inside the gift tube; a poster showed a collage of photos taken across various Undergrounds of different timelines, showcasing the vastly different terrains and communities that exist.

When viewed from afar it was a wall to wall poster of the Delta Rune, all fireproof of course!

Ember had been about to leave her house to go to Grillby’s where she knew Sil, Lewis, River and her other friends would be waiting for her. When she heard the knock at the door to find Saudade of all people standing there - he was in her timeline. He hadn’t visited in so long, her flame grew so much brighter when she saw him.

“Saudade! I d-didn’t know you w-were coming!” She giggled and hugged him as tightly as her little arms would allow. The gift was amazing but she was even happier just to see her friend again.

“T-This is bigger t-than me. Thank y-you Saudade. How w-was your giftmas?”

Ember could manage to be a little later, if this had been the surprise Grillby had organised, she was certainly more than happy about it.

Saudade smiled at her enthusiasm.

“Well it’s better than if I brought this for you a year ago, you’ve gotten taller!”

He gave the small fire elemental a hug back.

“My Gyftmas was good, Keefe and I went to a few timelines giving out gifts before settling down in a quaint Snowdin cottage for the night.”

“We had a few visitors and ended up having a great time-”

Saudade was cut off by his stomach growling, he had forgotten to eat before bringing Ember her gift!

He gives a sheepish grin.

“Any chance I can tag along to Grillbys?”

She giggled, she had indeed grown since last year. Grillby had told her it was due to the fact she was being taken care of properly and her magic had developed. Though when he asked to join her birthday party she beamed. "Of course y-you can j-join. I s-still haven't m-met Keefe. I've h-heard about him l-lots though." Ember made her way out of the house in her usual scarf though it had worn a bit more since Saudade had last seen her. "I'm s-sure Mister G-Grillby and my other f-friends will be happy t-to see you."

S-So it's my b-birthday today, I'm n-now eight years o-old. It's h-hard to believe how m-much has changed i-in two y-years. I'll b-be spending my d-day with M-Mister Grillby and m-my friends. They w-won't tell me what t-they've got p-planned but I'm e-excited. I trust t-them and I'm j-just happy t-to be with them today.

((Now usually I'd draw Ember on her birthday as I have the past two times but due to college work I'll have to delay drawing her. Though I'll be excited to draw her when I can, though I'm unsure what style I'll be drawing in as since last year I've developed my art style.))

I finished s-school for a w-week. We have half t-term, me and m-my friends are planning on h-having a s-sleepover and playing games for the week. I j-just hope I g-get better from b-being poorly quick s-so we can h-hang out with them, Mister G-Grillby said it w-was a 'cold'? I d-don't really get that. A-Anyway at school l-last week m-my teacher said s-she's happy with h-how well I've been d-doing. S-She was also impressed by my s-science project...I'm n-not really sure how to f-feel about that. But a-at least she t-thought it was g-good.

032 (Happy 2nd Anniversary)

H-Hello everyone...I'm s-sorry it's been s-so long. I just wanted to s-say things have been going well. Me and m-my friends from school spent a-as much of t-the break together a-as we could. We're n-now back to s-school and my after school l-lessons with Mister G-Grillby have been g-going well. Things f-feel so different to what t-they were a f-few years ago. In a r-really good way t-though! I feel i-it was important to share t-that today.

((I'd just like to say a happy 2 year anniversary to Undertale. This game changed my life in so many ways, I made some of my closest friends because of this amazing game and it was such a pleasure to play those two years ago. The story, the music, the art and the community that was built round this game. It has changed my life even if just in a small way. Thank you.))

Well whilst I've been done with exams for weeks now, I still am not feeling any inspiration to really do anything on the blog. Whilst I would love to rp here, I find myself more regularly rping other (non-undertale) characters on my discord. However, if anyone would like to rp with me or even ask anything to Ember please don't be afraid to do so. The blog hasn't been active as a fault of my own but without any asks or anything really I'm debating whether I should keep this blog active at all. W-Well it's b-been a wee f-few months since I've b-been on. Not much h-has happened, I've h-had school and been h-hanging out with my f-friends. We keep p-playing this fantasy game, Sil l-loves it. So a year ago today I created my OC Ember, so I decided to do a comparison of my drawing of her this time last year and now. I do have to admit that there is a drastic improvement. Creating Ember changed me in more ways than one not only have I improved my skills through drawing and writing because of her. I have made new friends that have supported me everyday - online friends. I never expected such a change in only one year but I don’t regret creating her for one second, I would have never even considered making online friends if it weren’t for rping as her online and getting to know the people behind the rp. So thank you to everyone who has supported me this year with everything be it drawing, writing or just being there for me. Thank you to all of you. I probably sound really dumb with the post but nevermind.

S-So today i-is my birthday. I’m s-seven years old. I’m really e-excited, Mister G-Grillby said he was organising something at his r-rest–…restaurant. I h-hope my friends Sil, L-Lewis and Quip are there and all m-my other friends to. I can’t w-wait!
