I wish/I know

I wish, more than anything, that the streets I wander to find comfort and peace, were not a battleground for so many women.

I wish, more than anything, they did not have to endure the stares like bullets, words like bombs, and a physical pain I cannot even fathom.

I wish, more than anything, we lived in a world where this dichotomy between me walking down the street and a woman walking down the street did not exist.

I know, more than anything, there are those of us who will fight tirelessly until every last soul on this earth understands respect and love, fully and completely.

A small tribute to my dad’s dog. Kenai went missing about a week ago, we’ve finally concluded that he’s gone. He lived a good life full of adventures. Shall I always remember the crazy dog he was. Maybe he’ll return to earth as a rabbit because he was fucking fast or stag so he’ll finally learn what wisdom is.
