because let’s be honest, neither do I.

hello this is your reminder that you should care about other people. you should care if your friend is having a bad day, you should care about other people's feelings, you should care about conducting yourself with as much kindness and respect as you possibly can, and you should care about a whole country that's being genocided. yes, you should care. no, it is not simply your right to go about life caring about nothing and no one but yourself. no, that is not a neutral action. that is anti-ethical. you should care. anyone who has told you you can live your life in your own bubble of not caring has failed you. you should care.
