The kiwi with glasses sits there unmoving.

..............................Slowly smooshes the Kiwi into Ahri's face. "I'm kissing you now, darling."

"ah, yes. this does feel just like one of your kisses. slobbery. sweet. and a little bit fuzzy."

"Not quite darling, it's missing the fangs wouldn't you say?"

[stahri]

"and kind of sticky. but yes, it is missing that not so subtle hint of danger. i think i might prefer it even." ahri smiles innocuously and teasingly.

"I'll remember that darling."

[embraced-agony]

"ah, yes. this does feel just like one of your kisses. slobbery. sweet. and a little bit fuzzy."

It's January 2nd. Where is Evelynn today, and what is she doing?

Evelynn is in one of her delightfully massive mansions having a little snack.

It's just a shame alcohol doesn't really do anything for her.

Grins at her, mistletoes dangling from her horns. “Merry Christmas, Eve.”

Evelynn sighs deeply. "I cant say i believe."

Some part of the Onceler does distantly know that he ought to defer to Evelynn’s advice, as she has been in business for a lot longer than he has.  In fact, he doesn’t think that he can remember a time when she wasn’t in the spotlight, though his memory might be a little impaired by the alcohol swimming in his veins right now.

He thought that he had a high tolerance, but Evelynn still seems as dignified and undaunted as ever.

“Sure, I am careful,” he says.  “I’ve got the best people money can buy on the security side of things.”  It is not that he is completely technologically illiterate, but he doesn’t really know enough about things like firewalls and all that other hacker lingo.

“I wouldn’t be saying that without reason, you know,” he adds, leaning in, grinning like a shark.  “I’m all too familiar with the ways to bleed people dry.”

"Good. Trust is a rare thing in our lines of work but ever that much more precious when its gotten.” Even if bought, enough money to make some ones life comfortable can earn you loyalty for a long time. Something Evelynn learned quickly in life when the nature of the world changed.

Lifting her refilled glass Evelynn takes a delicate sip of her drink. 

“Oops.” Mischievously she puts a finger to her lips, sharp smile wide beneath. “It seems I’ve slipped their leash.” An easy feat for her, even without using her powers. Mortals are so easily distracted by the smallest things. “Honestly I should fire them and hire someone who can actually do their job, but then I wouldn’t get to have any fun.” 

She listens intently as he speaks and she knows well the nature of contracts and secrets in this business. So instead of pushing as one might expect Evelynn instead gives a slight nod.

“Ah, say no more darling. I understand. I look forward to hearing more about it when the time comes. I’m sure it will be a grand affair.” 

With a hum she sweeps her gaze around the club. “Anyone catch your eye recently?”

“Ahri.”

“Not at all.”

it is time to pout.

“Perhaps you should consider that you just desire me without the effects of my…Skills.”

“I might. When you admit you are endeared of me. More so than your usual… company, let’s call it.”

“I don’t have to be ‘endeared’ to what is mine darling.” 

[embraced-agony]

"evelynn."

“Ahri.”

“Perhaps you should consider that you just desire me without the effects of my...Skills.”

"evelynn."

“Ahri.”

“I havn’t the foggiest idea what you mean. You know what I think? I think you’ve been dreaming up scenarios in your head.”

“I certainly have, but that’s an entirely different subject we can touch back on later.”

“Oh?”
