So apparently the House is going to vote on the KIDS Act tomorrow. If you haven't already, please call your reps. Let them know no peace. This is our last chance!
At the same time, if it does pass, I hope it blows up in their faces. I hope they understand how bad it is to have a digital ID.

We need to ban together and call our representatives! Tell them TO OPPOSE THESE BILLS! If we don't do it on the Internet as we know it will become a hyper-survaillance dystopian where anything that the government considers "harmful" will be censored! Alright, so the KIDS Act (HR 7757) is being voted on in the house next week, most likely tomorrow (Monday, June 29th) at 6:30PM.
What you are going to do when you call your reps tonight, tomorrow, and every day after is leverage the fact that neither Congress or the Senate agree on KOSA.
Tell your congressperson that multiple people in the Senate already want to shoot it down because of KOSA and that there is no point pushing something unpopular that senators already want to shoot down.
Tell your senator that other senators plan to shoot it down because of KOSA. That KOSA means nothing as it is (word that better than me) and all that it can be is a national security risk because let's be real, at worst that's what SCREEN is.
That disagreement is the one weakness it has, openly, mind you. Pit the two sides against each other as much as possible because that is our best bet.
Calling your representative is literally so easy by the way. And I know people are very doomerish about things like age verification, but believe it or not they DO listen to people. And if you're too shy for a two minute phone call (because if you haven't done it before, that's literally all it takes), you can also email or fax them.

The Aussie social media ban (ASMB) is making us require government ID or a face scan to verify that we are over 16. Under 16 are completely banned from all social media, YouTube is on the fence, including Roblox wiki many search engines, and some have put forth gmail and other âsitesâ.

House Energy and commerce committee has announced an Agreement on Bipartisan Kidsâ Safety Package, which includes KOSA.
TL;DR
House and Energy agrees on kids safety package called âKIDS ACTâ which includes KOSA and 16 other bills
They have secured democrat support for a once republican only package
Democrats werenât supporting the package because it didnât go far enough
New text would require KOSA to force companies to curb harms to young users, though the differences between the senate and house versions of KOSA might cause challenges
With the senate version requiring a duty of care, with many pointing out to be a massive push for censorship (as is the other kid safety bills)
It does include provisions of date collection of young people and a bill that would push for better privacy for young people (oh the irony)
