just like any other palestinian who is in gaza currently, she is dealing with a lot on her plate. she is currently living in a tent with her family members, and her fiancé, all while being pregnant with her first child. food, and a good water source being scarce, and mostly contaminated only worsens the issue. everyone is dealing with so much anxiety from surviving, and trying not to die every day, if it wasn't hard enough. because of that, many palestinians, hilda included, have made accounts on paypal, gofundme, chuffed, etc. in order to evacuate safely, and to afford food, and shelter for everyone in their families.

hilda is no different. she needs our help more so than ever. no one deserves anything like this, so all we can do is to help whenever we can.

her campaign is still at 7%, meaning that she is very far from her goal currently. please share this post with more people, so they, too, can help.

the way this show affected me as a child and ofc, still does as a adult; an adult- it has fucked up me up as a child and an adult - both as a child and an adult.. fucking hell .. fuck choota bheem. My name is Maram, I am 25 years old from Gaza. I dreamed of a peaceful life, spending my life with my husband and my three children... but the war turned this dream into an impossible one 💔😭. We lived through this genocide with all its painful details and we are still suffering from it😭. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in northern Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Gaza Strip. After repairing a small room in our destroyed house, we began to live there and start over. Unfortunately, the war came back, and it was even stronger than before 💔. hello.

apologies for taking some time to come back here. it's been very difficult to come on this blog, since i've not been very mature with it as much as i should've been years ago. for reference, i had a bit of a moment when i was mentioning the already passed bill that was TIDA (take it down act). TIDA is a censorship bill that was passed in may 2025, and has since already taken full effect. despite that, fighting for privacy, and the removal of sending personal information to corporations still continues.

otherwise, i needed some time away to recollect after what i have sent on here. again, it was very irresponsible of me to lash out like that. while no one was targeted during that time, i still shouldn't have done that, and make people worry about me. for that, i'm very sorry. because of that, i won't be sharing vents on here anymore. from here on out, it'll only be about news, and other important things worth talking/mentioning about. unfortunately, i haven't been as active on that as much as i should've, and i apologize for that.

to make up for lost time, the next 2 days will have scheduled posts that'll be posted on this blog. i tried changing the wednesday's posts to tomorrow, but the queue's page is breaking on me at the moment, so that's what we're gonna have to deal with for now. sorry about that.

also happy pride month. at least in the us, it starts in june. either way, enjoy yourself, and accept others for who they are (unless they're a terrible person, then y'know).

i believe i have mentioned something about this before, but TIDA (take it down act), a censorship bill that was unfortunately signed into law, will be going into effect on may 19 of this year. meaning that whatever happens to content they deem illegal (in this case, referring to media regarding queer, minorities and marginalized groups) will be removed by the sites themselves.

i honestly don't believe contacting organizations on this would do anything now, as it's been signed into law, and as far as i know, there doesn't seem to be any time for us to make congress remove this law, let alone when anyone will ever listen to us again, but if you wanna try, then be my guest.

if you haven't archived anything just yet, i highly suggest that you do. millions, if not billions of content (that would obviously not be breaking the law, mind you) would probably be removed very soon. i'm just hoping that it wouldn't be as bad as i'm making it out to be, due to the bill being vague. but at this point, i can't be too sure, other than fearing the worst, cuz what else can i do?

this act will also make sure that posts regarding palestine, congo, and any other place that's going through a genocide, never seep through. again, due to how vague the bill is, it is unsure what will happen. but that does mean that the posts about palestine on here might have to slow down. i fear that i could literally get my ass arrested for this. yes, i'm not joking when i say that. i could get in trouble for showing support. this does not mean i'll never make another post again. i'll still try to do what i've been doing here, but for now, i'm unsure on how to continue from here, knowing how bad this bill will be, once enacted.

Please Help Save the Gender Wiki

Hello, Tumblr. I've never posted here, only lurked. But this is one of the most important things in the world to me, and I honestly need to ask you for help. Please reblog if you can.

This will be a long post. It will be summarized with a TLDR at the end, including ways that you can help.

With over 9,200 pages, we are the biggest collection of gender identities on the Internet, especially the biggest source that is readily available. We are a community that has existed since 2009, and has taken off in terms of growth in the last few years.

Today, Fandom decided to close the Gender Wiki. We were given absolutely no warning, and they've only given us a two-week deadline to move the entire wiki to a new host, which we are utterly unprepared to do. The download would also not include any of the 17,000+ images on the Gender Wiki, many of which do not exist anywhere else on the Internet.

Here is a link to the post Fandom staff gave us today, and a paraphrased summary of it below:

Fandom staff says that they won't continue to host our wiki because it "spreads harmful misinformation". They believe we have gone too far in "positioning everything as a gender identity", referring to xenogenders. They mention pages with xenogenders referring to suicide/self-harm and violence --- which we, the staff members, were /already/ in the process of deleting before this notice was given to us. They decided that the best solution was not to ask us to delete those pages, or even delete the pages themselves, but instead to remove our entire database.

There are many other wikis on Fandom with much worse references to violence than the Gender Wiki, which Fandom appears to have no problem with whatsoever.

I cannot express enough that this is erasure, and it will absolutely negatively affect the LGBTQ+ community to not have this treasure trove of information readily available.

I am an admin on the Gender Wiki, and I can assure you that our entire staff team is already trying to appeal to Fandom staff. I'll add any updates if they decide to respond to us, but they have no yet given staff any more information than the above

PLEASE help in any way you can. Reblog, spread awareness, or sign this petition if you have a Fandom account. Archive any Gender Wiki pages, especially ones that don't have pages elsewhere, with the Wayback Machine or alternatively archive.is, or even write posts about them here or on other sites. Please help us save this information. It can't possibly be done this quickly without help.

TLDR: Fandom staff decided that, in two weeks, they will close the Gender Wiki, the biggest gender resource on the Internet. They gave us no warning. It will be impossible to save all of the information on the wiki. Please reblog or sign this petition if you have a Fandom account. Help save the data by archiving pages here or here. Post about this. Help spread awareness.
